Good hotel
Reviewed By AdM85Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Hot water and good wifi. No breakfast was included. Friendly staff (Spanish speaking only). You can walk to many restaurants from here. Nice views of the square. Id recommend!

We are located in Huanchaco, one bloek away from the beach and in a main avenue. We have shared rooms and doble rooms, free wifi, hot water, terrace and guess kitchen.

Reviewed By f1racecardrvrtripThe rooms are proper and clean with very pleasant bedding, however the room at the back with 8 beds shares a wall with another room and that wall doesn't go all the way to the top, so it feels like one big room, because you can hear everything going on o the other room. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the showers and bathroom areas were clean the 2 nights I stayed there.

Good clean hotel but expensive and noisy
Reviewed By StunnedRabbitAfter a nine hour bus trip from Lima, we had prebooked this hotel. Clean tidy good 24 hour reception but so noisy we checked out ASAP... Trujillo is very boring no bars only guided tours to yet Ore ruins - we headed to Huanchaco which is great!!

Near the city centre, no hot water and noisy at night
Reviewed By OriolekamIt is near the center and just 5 minutes walk from the Plaza de Armas. There was no hot water and quite cool at night, and I was at a shared dorm which directly facing the main entrance. There is a bar or cafetería at the entrance and was playing music at night, so it was noisy.

Super hôtel !

Service client au top! L'eau de la douche est chaude, le wifi fonctionne bien, les chambres sont propres et confortables. Nous recommandons chaudement !

The Hotel Las Mercedes is located in Trujillo, all rooms have a private bathroom, toilet kit, television and complimentary bottle of water, it offers American-style breakfast included. The hotel is very close to the Toy Museum, just 4 minutes walking and to the Plaza de Armas de Trujillo, just 8 minutes walking. The closest airport is Captain FAP Carlos Martínez de Pinillos located 30 minutes by car and the Trujillo Terrestrial Terminal 26 minutes by car.

Reviewed By financecounselorWe looked at several $35-50 hotels near the pedestrian street of Pizarro. This one turned out best. A great, friendly, and incredibly helpful staff! We had a large room in the back, low noise, lots of windows and 2 bed side lights. The bath was updated but a bit on the small side. Hot water eventually made it to the third floor, but certainly got hot. Clean room, nice bed, cable TV with some English channels, and even a full length mirror which my wife always likes. A super strong wifi which we really enjoyed after 2 months in Colombia/Ecuador where we were constantly internet challenged. The router was right outside our room. Very pleasant "American" breakfast that you could enjoy in the upstairs breakfast room or they will bring to your room...free room service, what a deal! Perhaps some new carpeting would help the appearance a bit, but at the price this hotel is definitely worth looking at. FYI, taxi fare from the main bus terminal is 10 soles.

Clean room & comfortable bed
Reviewed By Lisa PWe stayed here for two nights to break up the bus ride to Mancora. We chose this hostel because it's a short walking distance (5mins or so) to Cruz Del Sur bus station. It was also close to the historic city centre of Trujillo where all the sights and restaurants are. The owner was super friendly and helpful. On our last day our bus to Mancora was at 11pm and he was more than happy to store our bags safely in a back room until we needed to head to the bus station. The room was super clean and was cleaned every day we stayed there (this is the first time we experienced this) every other hostel we have stayed in didn't bother cleaning our room once. The shower was big, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft. The comfiest bed we have experienced on our travels in Peru so far. Yes the cars are noisy and beep a lot... But all the hostels we have stayed in were super noisy too from doorbells to people chatting outside our room. So the cars to us weren't a problem. I have really good ear plugs and we actually slept in for the first time in ages and had a great sleep.
