We were here for the big grand opening a couple of years ago. What a party that was! So, we finally had the time to come back...our loss because this is a lovely, quiet, fun, unpretentious place to go to for good wine, joyous conversation with the employees and just about anyone walking into the place. Good variety of wines done just a little differently than what you might expect. The blends are mixes of the unusual, not tried and true and maybe boring. Nothing ordinary although we only tried the five free servings.....and thank you for this!....because our palates were done by #5 and what we had was just that good! The winner for us was the Bridgehead Blanc, their white blend. The Riesling in it made for a great fruit finish that even a drier taste would like, complex. We got a bottle of their champagne which "Jan" behind the counter popped for us with ice and bucket and hilarious banter and a hug! Delish!!! Also some nice art and photos. The grounds/flowers, etc. are starting to take off, good place for an event. Glad to see the business thriving. Ohhhh, will we back!
