The downstairs of the house is the presentation of the history of the house and how the wealthy family used to live. The rooms are well presented and there are good explanations of each room. There are also some photo board displays of old buildings in Uusikaupunki which were demolished and replaced with ugly modern blocks, well worth a look! Upstairs is dedicated to the maritime history of Uusikaupunki with lots of photos, exhibits, pictures of ships and other such usual things. The inside yard contains some outbuildings, including a shoe maker's workshop. The yard is a nice place to sit and have a coffee or picnic. I'd highly recommend a visit to this museum!

First it was a great suprise that there are still places that do not accept bankcards only cash. Service was very good and although dogs were not allowed we got our little friend in when we put him in a backpack ???? Very good selection of cars and good informationabout them! We recommend when in area!
