Just couldn't do it . So let me explain, I am afraid of heights and when I got there and realized that the bridge did move and ya it was definitely high I bowed out. My friend went and loved the views. My understanding is that is the longest suspension bridge in Austria. It was a great walk in the forest to get there. Yes it is up hill but the path is paved. Someone traveling with us has back and leg issues and was able to do the walk. You also have the opportunity to go to the Ehrenberg castle ruins which have a wonderful 360 view of your surrounding. Mountains and a village below. We could actually hear Bavarian music playing from the town. Again me and my heights there were a few freaky spots for me . I really enjoyed this stop. We did not do the museum that was also there by the parking area in the valley. For hiking lovers they do have a few trails you can take.

The location is what makes this worthwhile as the view is quite amazing but the castle is really a mere broken shell so you don't get any idea of what it's as like in it's heyday.

Alpentherme Ehrenberg

We were in Reutte for one night before visiting Neuschwanstein and chose it mainly because of its proximity, during the afternoon we decided to go to the Apentherme even though it was raining and it was a great decision. The water has a good temperature and you can enjoy it outside even if the weather is not so good!!
The waterslide is fun even for adults and we had an amazing experience there.
Great views!!!

Chritsch

The mountain calls!!! -for hiking and mountain biking in the Außerfern. Experience beautiful views, varied hiking trails, rustic huts and crystal clear lakes (with drinking water quality). The Mountains wait to be discovered by you. Whether on foot, with the bike (also e-bike possible) or both in combination, the natural experience and the sociable coexistence are the main focus.

Stuibenfalle

We were lucky enough to run into a group of teenagers "canyoning" down the river and rocks which greatly added to the interest of this already lovely walk. No special hiking skills needed for those on the path. Just a bit of stamina as it is steep in places.

We visited on recommendations on Trip Advisor. Although it is a nice church, I would not particularly recommend the drive to see it. Nothing spectacular, just nice.

Angeln am Urisee

Simple Austrian village/town museum. Two page guide leaflet in English, everything else in German. So best to read that first. Lovely photos of old Austrian buildings with diagrams on how they were constructed. Nice oil paintings of native flowers.
Only open a few days a week in the afternoons, €3 to get in.
Friendly staff.

Evangelische Dreieinigkeitskirche

Reviewed By Innokentia - Moscow, Russia
