Yesterday we went to the House of Riddles with the aim of playing two escape rooms. The Diamond and the Passengers! Remember that both of the rooms have as an aim to accomplish Missions and not to escape from them.
First and foremost, the Diamond is an old school room which gives the opportunity for amateur teams to enter the world of escape rooms! Good mechanisms and atmosphere, which depsite the fact that the room is open for 2,5 years, make the players enjoy to the maximum the experience! The Mission is well-structured and the riddles have medium difficulty. In my opinion, a 3/5 room for experienced players and a 4/5 for starters.
Second of all, in my opinion, the best room that House of Riddles can offer to people is the Passengers! Maybe one of the best mechanisms of all the rooms I've been! It's a lot different from anything you have played! A lot of hidden paths, great riddles and the action never stops! You will surely put your knowledge to the test in order to solve the riddles! The House of Riddles has done a great job providing the best possible atmosphere for such a room and the background music is absolutely amazing! Be hasty, observe the room in detail and work as a team is some of the tips that they seem handy for such a room! I highly recommend it for experienced teams (4,5/5).
To sum up, al I could say is that it's worth visiting! Grab 2 or 3 friends and go have some fun!

"Requiem" room is ranked no 1# by players and not unfair: it is one of the few rooms that the story is connected with the riddles, supported by a unique atmosphere and a well educated actress, who may appear from... the ceiling! Suspence and fun in 9 different spaces! Congratulations! There is also a version in English and it can be reached with metro line (Ag.Antonios station).

Η αλήθεια είναι πως αρχικά θεώρησα τα escape rooms ως μια μόδα που θα πέρναγε μαζί με όλες τις άλλες!! Αυτό όμως ήταν πριν 2 χρόνια..Πλέον είμαι φανατικός του συγκεκριμένου sport και η αλήθεια είναι πως στην Ελλάδα έχω παίξει σε πολύ όμορφα escape rooms αλλά δυστυχώς έχω φάει και πατάτες από προχειροδουλειές και δωμάτια δίχως νόημα..
Ο λόγος που αποφάσισα να γράψω κριτική για το EscapeClue Athens είναι γιατί πραγματικά βρέθηκα σε μια αρκετά ευχάριστη έκπληξη όταν αντίκρισα τον χώρο του escapeclue για πρώτη φορά! Με λιτή διακόσμηση χωρίς πολλές ακρότητες, ύφος παλιού εγκαταλελειμμένου κτιρίου αλλά και ευρύχωρους χώρους σου δημιουργεί μια γλυκιά αναμονή να μπεις στο δωμάτιο!
Εμείς παίξαμε το Bunker 38, που όπως μας είπαν και τα παιδιά του EscapeClue Athens απαιτούσε περισσότερο παρατηρητικότητα παρά physical tasks! Το δωμάτιο ήταν καλοστημένο και όλα ήταν τοποθετημένα εκεί που έπρεπε με μόνο στόχο..να βασανίσουν το μυαλό μας!!
Η μόνη μου παρατήρηση που μεταφέραμε και απευθείας στα παιδιά του escape clue είναι ο υπερβολικά μεγάλος αριθμός από τα λουκέτα που είχε το δωμάτιο..ίσως να ήταν καλύτερα αν υπήρχαν πιο λίγα!
Τεσπά εμείς σε 45' ήμασταν έξω, μείναμε ιδιαίτερα ευχαριστημένοι και σίγουρα θα πάμε πάλι για να δοκιμάσουμε και τα υπόλοιπα δωμάτια! Μπράβο στα παιδιά και την προσπάθεια τους! Μακάρι να υπάρξουν πολλά τόσο ενδιαφέροντα δωμάτια και στην Ελλάδα!
