Boda Borg Boston

Are you ready to break out of prison, be on a TV game show, explore a haunted house or run an obstacle course? Boda Borg Boston has seventeen Quests to challenge your team. You'll climb, crawl, explore and fail -- a lot -- as you work together to conquer our challenging Quests.

I have been to Boda Borg twice now, once with friends and and again with my siblings. Loved it! It kind of has escape room vibes, but is more fast paced. Also, you don't have to just hang around if you're "stuck," it's easy to take a break from a quest, try another, and come back later. One HUGE recommendation (especially if you're going to try a lot of the physical quests and stay for a few hours): KNEE PADS! Omg, such a life saver. I didn't wear them the first time and regretted it. Wore them the second time and my experience was much improved. A surprisingly large amount of the quests involve crawling or climbing, so they really helped. Other general tips for first-timers: 1) Start with farm or rats to get accustomed to questing. 2) You MUST be in a group of 3 to 5. If you are in a large group you will need to split up, and if you are in a smaller group you will not be able to complete the quests. 3) Get an all day pass for sure. 2 hours is not enough, even if you go at a less busy time. I would recommend planning to spend at least a half day there, but depending on how much fun you're having you may spend more or less time. 4) After 6 PM parking is free, but nearby parking on the street and in garages is reasonably priced. 5) There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and if you get the all day pass you can leave and come back. I'd recommend leaving for lunch or dinner and then coming back after if you want. Their cafe is limited in options. 6) If you are worried because you are not physically fit, rest assured that you will likely be fine for most quests, but may not be able to complete some (such as bootcamp and superbanan). 7) GO! This place is super unique and fun, I have enjoyed it both times I have gone.
