Sar Pass Trek

Reviewed By RV1803

The best trek I have ever been to. It is a challenging trek with height of 13800 ft. It is in kasol area and offers mind blowing sceneries. A good nature photography session can be done here. The view from peak is the ones you see in dreams. Sar in local language means lake. There is a lake at the peak at 13800 ft and thus this trail is named Sar pass. Best time to visit here is May-July. A must do trek for adventure lovers.

Kheer Ganga

Reviewed By painulyhimanshu - New Delhi, India

This is one of the most beautiful places i have been to which was more thrilling because of the ongoing snowfall, Kheer Ganga is located in Parvati valley and is a moderate trek for about 9-11 kms from Barshaini which is considered to be the base for this trek.
The place is simply mesmerizing and beautiful, with ample of Waterfalls, river streams and natural beauty all around. Though we had an adventurous and thrilling trek due to a sudden snowfall it was still a lot of fun and enjoyment, however i can say that it was a bit risky and dangerous as the trek route became very slippery.
The natural hot water spring in Kheer Ganga is an experience which one will remember for a life time since you will feel very relaxed and energetic after taking a dip in the parvati kund.
A must do trek for all nature enthusiast for a thrilling and adventurous experience.

Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery

Reviewed By sudipta b - calcutta

We drove up to the Roerich Art Gallery from Kullu and walked through the lovely bungalow of the late Russian painter. The lighting on the paintings could be better; reflections were detracting from the master of mountainscapes' frames. There are entry tickets, but a guide would have been helpful

Really enjoyed our selections from the extensive Indian/Chinese Menu. We love Asian food and this is as good as we have had in a small local restaurant. Family run with good service. Bottle shop around the corner for BYOB. Highly recommended.

Hot Springs at Manikaran

Reviewed By sudipta b - calcutta

Our visit to Kasol and Manikaran was memorable. In Manikaran, where temples and a gurdwara stand side-by-side, we needed to walk down to the level of the hot Springs. The steam from these Springs rose nearly two stories and food could be cooked in it. The temperature of the Springs are scaldingly hot and the waters are said to have curative properties
