It's an old Harbor town which is crowded during Summer time by Tourist. It was a pleasant experience, went for a coffee and cake at a Family-owned Bakery with a charming sitting corner. People were curious but in a friendly way, we didn't mind a bit. The Beach area was secluded, windy and cold but still we enjoy strolling the place.

I didn't really know what to expect when my mom signed our whole family up for this attraction, but was happily surprised by the size, service, different paths, creativity and safety...
I found it way harder physically than I expected... With 3 different lanes there should be a little challenge for everyone in the family.. It's really nice way to spend couples of hours in the beautiful danish nature ! I think everyone should go there at least one time!

We have now visited Kurbadet by Ilse Jacobsen on a few occasions and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It is just what the sleepy beachside town of Hornbaek needed, something contemporary with a sense for modernity and quality. The spa and treatments are also of a high standard, we tried the massage and it was lovely. But what this place really excels at is the food, wow, this is a mixture of new Nordic cuisine and Traditional Danish favourites. The menu is so appealing you want to order one of everything (we almost did), and we were all very impressed with our meals. The quality of ingredients, the preparation and the originality of the recipes is really something else. Also, the service is attentive and knowledgeable. This place is miles apart from anything else I have tried in Denmark, my guests agreed. Other than that the Seating is comfortable and you are just a short 1 minute walk to one of the most beautiful Beaches in Northern Europe. We cannot wait to go back...

This is no doubt one of the best golf courses in Denmark. A challenging layout with several risk/reward holes, which makes it a lot of fun, both for the high and the low handicapper. Situated in one of the most beautiful areas surrounded by 300 year old oak trees, it is simply a-must-play, if you are visiting the Copenhagen and North Sealand area.

This is a great typical small local old church :). As most churches in Denmark by the coast it has a boat/ship theme inside with ships hanging from the ceiling. The alter is simple but very beautiful. Ceremony each sunday

Besøget gjaldt Hornbækhus, men der var kulturaften i byen, så vi måtte på bytur. De var ved at pynte butikken op, men desværre var champagnen ikke kommet på køl. Vi så på megen smuk malerkunst, og ikke mindst en smuk skulptur det var lavet af Prins Henrik. Meget smukt, og meget smukke blomster pyntede butikken.

Great shop for buying and renting high-quality stand up paddle boards from Hobie Cat. The owner is very friendly and extremely knowledgable about SUP. I took a 1,5 hour course and can definitely recommend this if you want to learn the essential SUP techniques from the offset.

En lørdags Trænings Bootcamp i klitterne på Hornbæk strand, eller træning på et formiddagshold hos Steven Training på Kurbadet i Hornbæk - bliver igen og igen min favorit-måde at holde formen ved lige, også som turist på ferie i området...
Man føler sig velkommen på alle tidspunkter. Steven fører en igennem en række øvelser der giver sved på panden og super god træning - hans professionelle træningsmetoder - gør at du undgår skader og har det super godt flere dage efter.
