Farm River State Park

This lovely park seems to be frequently forgotten, as it's fairly quiet despite its beauty. It has a small parking lot and a few trails of varying challenge levels that offer pretty views of the river and which run along the Long Island Sound. If you're lucky, you can catch views of several types of birds. I'd recommend bringing a nice lunch here.
