Usually go to this park at least once a year. Not that much changes, but it's a very restful place to wander thru. Quite large so if you have trouble walking (paths not paved) you might want to think twice. It's a garden on the traditional English plan. If one is in the area definitely worth a detour.

Energie Erlebnis Zentrum is an educational attraction about (alternative) energy and closely related to the Enercon plant Aurich next door. Energy is the red wire through the exhibit with several experimental/educational stands with a contest like tutorial for children of 10-12 years old and up, as for adults. A very good alternative thing to do on a rainy day.

Die historische Drogerie Maaß von 1855 in der Fußgängerzone von Aurich ist ein Erlebnis! Hier findet jeder garantiert ein Teil "aus seiner Jugend" Es ist kein Museum sondern ein echter Laden mit einem Sortiment, so wie man seit 1855 das Warenangebot einer Drogerie kannte! Hier gibt es von der Mausefalle, über Weck-Gläser, Strickliesel bis Teekanne wirklich alles. Hervorragend ist auch die Auswahl an Kinderbüchern - aktuell und beziehen sich wunderbar auf die Region!

Schöne alte Schlossanlage mitten in der City von Aurich in der sich nun das Amtsgericht Aurich befindet, sowie der dazugehörige Knast.
Die Anlage kann von aussen besucht und bewundert werden.

Mein neuer Job ist definitiv nicht Spiderman und auch nicht Reinhold Messner, aber sowas lässt sich im Kraxelmaxel hervorragend rausfinden...;-) Ein schöner Kletterwald mit viel Spaß für Groß und Klein...Ein Besuch lohnt sich, obwohl der Eintritt schon nicht gerad billig ist. Ein wenig Kraft und Beweglichkeit sollten vorhanden sein.
Kritikpunkt, das Personal hätte ruhig präsenter an den Parcours sein dürfen.
