Absecon (pronounced ab-SEE-con) is a city in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the city's population was 8,411, reflecting an increase of 773 (+10.1%) from the 7,638 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 340 (+4.7%) from the 7,298 counted in the 1990 Census.

Loved this place and would definitely tell people to go. They are very professional and walk you through everything. Upon arrival, they greet you at the door and ask you what service you are looking to do whether it’s archery or shooting handguns or rifles. You have to fill out a waiver and they do have computers there so that you’re able to do it quickly. You can also fill out the waiver on their website before getting there and it stores you in the system. You then are taken to a room to watch a five minute video on how to correctly handle the weapons and how to enter and leave the range. I chose to go to the rifle range and shoot the AR-15 as well as the 50 cal Barrett. Best experience ever! I do plan on returning in the future.

OMG, peanut butter lover unite! Some of the best flavors. Chocolate peanut butter, cashew butter, you just have to try the butterscotch peanut butter, that was my favorite!

This park is lovely! There are so many path's to walk or run, benches to sit on and a lake. The city of Absecon hold's numerous community event's here all year round. A quite peaceful place.
