This is a fun, learning fieldtrip with lots of interation with the kids!! Loved all the information about insects and bugs. Great place to inspire learning!

The Discovery Center offers trips to various locations in the area. Today was a gallery tour in Kansas City, MO and an outdoor Discovery center in the same area. The Buttonwood Gallery had artwork for sale supporting the Konza Prairie. The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art offered a variety of upcoming artists’ work on display and a wonderful lunch venue. Each location had someone to provide an overview of the site. These bus tours are an excellent value and provide new experiences each time. The Flint Hills Discovery Center is a wonderful venue for all ages and interests. Highly recommend a visit and a bus tour when available.

This place is very nice and has genuinely good exhibits. I never really been disappointed by the quality of the work presented. Sometimes there are some really ugly "modern art masterpieces" but those are few and far in between. Not bad considering the near total liberal culture of manhattan.

Pleasant and relaxing winery and cider house in Manhattan, KS. Who would have thought? Decent selection of wines and ciders. Nicely situated in the Flint Hills. Picturesque views from the outdoor patio. Certainly worth a vist.

We feature a custom built 4 level play structure along with over 50 arcade games, mini-bowling, and a custom built two-story laser tag arena! We have a in-house Cafe that serves pizza, wings, burgers, sandwiches, nachos, and fresh baked cookies!

Widgets is a ton of fun! With the great prices my family and I were able to spend hours of fun without breaking the bank. Would recommend to anyone, the kids had lots of fun in ballocity while we had a the best match of laser tag ever, fun for the whole family!
