Kew Cemetery

If you are looking for a deceased relative, this is a good place to come. If the office is closed there is still a touch screen (and free paper maps) you can use to find their grave. In addition, public toilets are clean and open. We had a specific person to find, which we did successfully. We also noted some impressive monuments and some amusing inscriptions.

Studley Park Boathouse

Reviewed By amanderj

This place was built in 1863 and has continued ever since to entertain young and old Melburnians and visitors as somewhere for a paddle on the river or a repast under the shade of the gum trees. The kiosk provides snacks, the cafe for a more substantial meal and the restaurant caters for functions. Ducks and geese waddle around competing with seagulls and sparrows foraging for food scraps around the tables and picnic area. A stroll across the iconic suspension bridge to the other side of the river gives a look down onto the water and boats and canoes. This is definitely something different and special, and great for outdoor entertaining with family and friends or just somewhere new to visit.
