Three generations of family members all found something they absolutely loved about the NASA Kennedy Space Center and you can feel the excitement in the air with the SPACEX launch pad and NASA's upcoming Mission to Mars. Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed coming close to the 50th anniversary of JFK's moonshot being realized, Gen X and Millennial parents and Aunts enjoyed Atlantis and the very wee ones enjoyed all of the interactive exhibits, slides and play park. A great, albeit long day with plenty for everyone. Recommend doing the bus tour first as the line gets very long.

I've been here several times over the years with my 6 year old. We love it there! There are 4 floors of activities. Currently, they have a superhero exhibit my son loved. The Dino digs, weather experiments, indoor playground and animals (alligators, turtles etc.) are also always a hit. We always eat at Subway when we are there as that has always been the only food option. However, this time I was happy to see they opened a coffee shop that had a few snack options in it. Expect to spend the day there. We were there 5 hours. We always get there when they open at 10am to get the best parking by the entrance in the parking garage and to avoid some of the crowds. $5 to park. They have a nice gift shop, but it's overpriced. The only problem about visiting in the summer is all of the groups of camps/daycares that take up all of the exhibits. The staff at OSC were very helpful however.

Kika Silva Pla Planetarium

We went on Friday night and did two shows: Florida Skies and Music 360 Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon. The Florida Skies show was, I think, $6 each. The host James is so funny and knowledgeable. He makes it interactive and fun. I would definitely consider going back for the show for a different season. This show lasted about an hour. We decided to stay for the music show and while we both enjoyed it and left with a lot to talk about, we agreed we wouldn't want to do the music show again. I did feel a little woozy with some of the animations, but I was also tired so I just closed my eyes for a while and was fine. The planetarium is smaller than others I have been too. My one tip is to get there early and sit in a seat where you are looking more straight towards the front. We sat in a more straight seat for the first show and then a mode side seat for the second and it was not as good a view.

The 3 Level Aquarium is so unique compared to other aquariums - since the underneath view is so different than other aquariums. Our son spent a good amount of time just admiring the many types of fish. The Exhibits feature South Florida Nature at its best. The Planetaruim is great for all ages...come and enjoy and family day with a bonus of great coastal and city views from the 4th Floor!
