It's rocky and steep at times but the reward is at the top where you can see a beautiful waterfall. Continue up and there is a lake for a cool dip and bring your fishing pole & license if fishing is your joy!

June is smaller than Mammoth, but that makes it less much crowded and no lines at the lifts. Perfect for families with free skiing for kids. It's a beautiful setting with easy parking right by the lower lift.

Parker Lake Trail

Reviewed By TerryM782 - Campbell, United States

My husband and I have hiked to Parker Lake several times. We really enjoy going there in the fall when the aspen are golden. The hike itself is not very difficult with an elevation gain of 540 feet and with a distance just under two miles. The first part is a little steep, but the rest isn't bad at all. Also, there are some nice views of Mono Lake from the first part of the trail. Once you arrive at the lake, it is possible to hike all the way around although there are a couple of tricky spots. If you're in the June Lake area and want a nice hike to a beautiful little lake, I highly recommend this trail.

Unbelieveable view of Carson Peak from the Marina at Gull. Great fishing in the summer, and a nice little 2 mile hike around the lake.

Not only is the staff great, what they have to offer is wonderful! Boat rentals, pontoon rentals, fishing tackle, snacks, drinks and even cold beer. Call prior to your trip to reserve your boat because the rentals are snatched up quickly. Prices are fair and moderate...have a great day on the lake!

Gull Lake Park

Reviewed By mini - Fremont, United States

We visited again Gull Lake Park in mid August 2017. We have spent much time at scenic park. It has a very good playground area, tennis courts, and picnic areas. The picnic area has individual barbecues. There is also a big fire ring for a fire at night. There is also a large Trout statue with some local photos on it. There are nice views of Gull Lake. Its a popular park to go trout fishing. It is free to visit. There is parking there.
