What a beautiful museum housed in an historic Victorian house. A most enjoyable museum, a large gift shop and beautiful environment. I was happy to stumble onto the annual fiber arts sale. Quilts, yarns, fabrics and various tools for sale. I scored. Pleasant experience.

Handmade La Conner

Reviewed By dunadan - Lynnwood, United States

My family has been using the bulk detergent from Handmade La Conner for nearly a year now, and likely will not go back to regular commercial products. First, the products are manufactured in the back of the store using safe natural ingredients, and then packaged in bulk. Second, even a small bag of the detergent goes a long way; for our high-efficiency front-loading washer, we use about 1/2 tablespoon of the powdered detergent per load. While we can order the products online, since we happened to be in town for a long weekend, we decided to stop in and see where the products are made. In addition to cleaning products, there are also a wide variety of beauty products and other organic, natural goods, from lip moisturizer to soap to re-usable shopping bags to t-shirts to pens and pencils. There's something for everybody here.
