Reviewed By CrazyroadtripmomThis hotel is just too bad to ever stay here again. It’s filthy and old. The halls smell like cigarettes and mold. The rooms smell like bleach covering up mold. Stains on sheets and carpets. Shower/tub water runs all the time and doors to the parking lot do not close and building is not secure.

Reviewed By emmapP7139YKIt’s a great room for the price, only 70 on a Saturday! The bed was very comfortable. It was actually a bigger room than I expected. The bathroom was so cute, everything was pink. It’s close to downtown for food and not far from hiking trails in Chester.

Reviewed By seakirkProperty has never reopened gym since Covid. I rely on this amenity, and every other hotel at which I stayed on my week-long trip had theirs open. Fire department woke me up in the middle of the night due to a faulty CO2 alarm. Property has no elevator I was assigned room on 2nd floor. Thankfully I am still able to do stairs at 70, but still a hassle with luggage. Breakfast left me wondering why they even bother...

Just FYI, you will not be refunded your money once you arrive, and discover that the hotel is disgusting and that the reviews on their website are clearly delusional. Immediately, our key did not work. Even after it was reset three times, and with the assistance of the front desk person walking over to unlock the doors. By the way, the front desk staff was very nice. We literally did not make it past the entry door. In the parking lot, people were seated in cars with blasting music, drinking alcohol. I witnessed what appeared to be a drug deal, and several other people just walking around aimlessly. There were window screens on the first level that appeared to have been cut open, flapping in the wind. Luckily, there was a nice, clean, quiet hotel nearer the downtown area. Unfortunately, we paid for both rooms.

Reviewed By Raynbow_1323If you want to stay out of crack Hotel then stay here the sheets were dirty and had holes in it the bathroom fan was so loud that we couldn't use the light there was no toiletries even asked for some I didn't get any and their breakfast is really crappy coffee orange juice if u lucky 2 get some and some cheap Walmart granola bars

Reviewed By BusterBusBusThis is your basic motel. No frills no extravagance. EconoLodge is at the bottom of the chain of Choice hotels. So i was expecting much. They have smoking and non smoking rooms. Inside and outside corridors. They offer a cold minimal breakfast and hot fresh coffee. If you are looking for more of eggs and such then walk up the road to iHop which is only a minutes walk. The hotel sits in a business area and with the many security cameras facing the parking lot and in the hallways, i never felt like i had to worry. We were first checked into rm 134 which was a single Queen bed but we needed two beds. Nicole was polite enough to change us into rm 122. I needed a few more towels and pillows and Sam the night auditor was prompt with getting me what i needed. With his smile and easy to talk to attitude i can see a manger in him. I hope that Raymond D knows what an incredible employee he has. Cause it was Sam who made this stay worth while. I will say that some attention to detail needs to be put on the rooms and if things get taken care of i see this property bloom. If you are looking for a 3 star hotel move on up the road. This place is just a simple motel with friendly front desk staff and clean rooms.

Overpriced and run down
Reviewed By FamilyTime1431The room was clean, and orderly. However the mattress and pillows were the hardest, cheapest I have ever slept on in a hotel. My wife and I could not sleep they were so uncomfortable. The lobby was in disrepair and looked nothing like the pictures. Overall, it would have been fine if it wasn't so OVERPRICED! It is the same price as the other nicer places in the area. We paid $190 per night (with taxes) and it should have been much less than that. I would suggest that they update the mattresses and pillows, and repair and replace the fixtures in the bathroom if they want to charge this much. It was run down and not worth the money.
