Reviewed By susty21It is 10 min away from convention center. But very far from city center. Facilities old and rickety, but very clean and neat. Personel very kind and thoughtfull. Breakfast was included and with variety and quality items. Ammenities scarce. Ideal for a low budget trip.

Scarse service - room not cleaned and sevice very lausy

I booked for 3 night and the Room was not made or clened for 2 days in the row. Staff helpless - They lazied about at the reception, and have very little care of clients, I have notified that the room was not made twice on separate dasy, but no one cared about it. Staff do not speak English at all. I have included, by mistake breakfast on the departing day, but I left the hotel at 4:00 to the airport, no discount was make or anything was prepared anyway, this is after I mentioned at the night shift staff that I was leaving at 4:00, and he said that a coffe and a small croissant would be available.

2 week solo trip - safe location but a bit far from city center
Reviewed By cuddipieI thoroughly enjoyed my 2 week stay at this location over the holidays. The room was comfortable for me and the small fridge and microwave and laundry in lower level was very convenient. I did not cook in the room, just reheated leftovers sometimes. The room was very clean and for me, weekly cleaning was sufficient. One can pay extra to have more frequent cleaning. The staff was excellent and helpful. Unfortunately, there was a strike the whole time I was there. The strike made it more difficult and time consuming to reach the city center. However, I managed it everyday (between 45min-60min each way). The buses were very very crowded often, but being on my own made it manageable. If you are with a family, it would have been harder to squeeze into the buses. The location was very quiet at night and I liked that. There is also a metro station nearby and a grocery store within a 8min walk. I stopped there often, it was very convenient. Traveling alone, I was concerned about safety. However this location was very safe, even at night. There is a police station around the corner. There was a bus stop within a 3 minute walk. I would stay there again for the same price, but next time, I might stay closer in and spend a bit more money. The bathroom was nice and I was provided 3 clean towels (one hand towel and 2 bath towels). They were of sufficient size but typical European, thin towels. I had brought one of my own just in case but never used it. The wall mounted heated towel rack was excellent. I was able to hand wash some items daily and using the rack, they dried within 20min. Loved that! Finally, there is a coffee machine in the main lobby and that was very convenient. I did not purchase the breakfast though. For the price and safety and service and amenities, I thought this place was excellent.

Located just behind Hall 7 of the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre, just 8 minutes walk from the main hall and a metro station. Good public transport links with the centre of Paris less than 30 minutes away by tram, bus or metro. Orly and CDG airports are 15 and 35 km away respectively.
Rude but neat

The room was better than the last Mercure hotel The bar staff are extremely rude the French rude kind If you don’t speak French look out , your on for a rude ride . The window looks into the hotel atrium so the noise vertebrates and no open sky to look at Bad staff can not go with 4 star

Reviewed By kanga1522My daughters and I stayed here for several days in late November. If we are able to return to Paris, we will stay here again. Our suite included two rooms, a private bathroom and a small refrigerator. Breakfast was served every day, and there is a bus stop about a minute’s walk from the property. The metro station is just a few minutes away on foot, and grocery shops and restaurants are easy to find. It was so much better than I’d hoped. The owner is wonderful and kind, and ready with helpful ideas and suggestions. This place felt like home and I hope to visit again some day.

Quite far out from Paris
Reviewed By ignoranttravellerHotel was adequate but not as close to Paris as we had hoped. It's conveniently located for the train station which helps. At first we were put into a room (two of us) which we couldn't actually stand in plus keep our luggage in, it was that small, but we were promptly moved. Would recommend for a night or two.

Reviewed By LauraLisal2021I actually stayed at this 'hotel' back in November 2017. I just remembered the horrible stay and came to TripAdvisor to read some reviews. I guess I wasn't surprised by any of the of it. My husband, two kids and I arrived after 9pm in Paris. We took a taxi to the address that was sent us from the hotel. The address was in French and we neither can speak nor read French, so our taxi driver translated the address to us even though he too was at a loss on this adventure. He couldn't speak English we couldn't speak French. Finding our apartment was like going on a treasure hunt adventure. First address, the reception, was closed and through some French emails, led us to a second address. A number locked mailbox (the key code was sent us by email) revealed a key to a second apartment that we had to travel by taxi. We were 2 adults and 2 small kids carrying 4 large suitcases and 2 monza camping bags in addition to a few more backpacks. Our apartment was on the fifth floor of a dubious building without elevators. Had an unforgettable time carrying all our luggage to the 5th floor. It was the worst room ever. However we stayed the night and the next morning walked 25 minutes to the reception. After all complains, the guy at the reception gave us another key to another ground floor apartment. So we took all our things and walked through the streets to this apartment. It was no better, but at least it was on the ground floor. It had 2 unguarded windows to the street. Anybody could break into our room while we were asleep or out and nobody would know. Thankfully we didn't have that experience, or we had nothing lying around to get burgled. We had just 5 days in Paris and the 1st day was wasted changing apartments. I read another review and I wonder if they were speaking about the same apartment because in the one we stayed as well, when we flushed the toilet, effluent came up the shower drain and flooded the whole cubicle and sometimes spilled into the room. It was so revolting. If you stay here, it's not the memories of Paris that you will be taking home - it will be of this dinghy 'hotel'. I cannot believe that 'Paris' would have places like this where sewage flowed into your rooms. French authorities should close down this place. There is no reception or security and if somebody murederd you in this apartment no one would know.
