Great nurse rate and location by the hospital. Beds are comfortable, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast coulve been a little better, it was almost completely empty by the time I got there at 830am. Other than that it's totally worth the stay.

Scam and unclean facility

Went for river raft with friends accidentally left 2 cell phones. Spoke to manager about sending them back to me. He stated that he could but they wouldn't pay so send them a postage paid box for return of my phones. He insisted that the post office won't take them because they have batteries in them them after me telling him that the post offices is the one who told me how to do it he stated that they will now no longer take it because I paid in stamps and now was considered suspicious activity. I believe he is trying to keep my phones because of their policy after the 30 day period of someone not picking up their belongings they have all rights to keep them. I am filing theft charges on them if thats what they are trying to pull. Then the room we had smelled so bad manager had housekeeping give us spray that didn't help come to find out there was dog poo under the chair in the room that didn't get cleaned up. PITIFUL AND DESGUSTING ON TOP OF ALL THAT. NEVER AGAIN!!

Very clean with friendly staff

Reviewed By Linda G

Overall, our stay was very good. A special shout-out to the evening desk clerk, Sarah, who was very warm and friendly, cheerful, and accommodating. The hotel and our room were nice and clean (I'm a clean freak, so I check under beds, behind the toilet, etc.) I really appreciate a hotel that uses all white linens. I don't particularly like using a communal shampoo/soap wall container, but I guess it's a cost savings for the hotel. Bring back the toiletries in bottles. As far as room amenities that was about it. The hotel sits off the the main highway far enough that road noise is not much of a problem to this light sleeper. Walls are quite thin, though, and we could hear people talking next to us and someone walking above us. We put on our white noise app and were fine. The coffee/tea bar downstairs 24-7 is nice, but we were disappointed not to have a coffee maker or a microwave in our room for heating, reheating. What good is the fridge if we can't reheat leftovers? The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast with waffles, sausage, cereals, etc. We enjoyed it. I would recommend this hotel, but bring your own coffee pot for the room if you're like me and want that cup of coffee when you first open your eyes, before you shower and dress.

Don't stay here/bed bugs,needs gutted

This was the dirtiest motel I've ever seen in Oklahoma. Bed bugs in overstuff chair and on bedding. I seen small ones all over my clothing after first night. Old mattresses sitting in parking lot gives you a clue. Staff was nice. Dirty and stained tubs, sinks, microwave. This place needs to be gutted and remodeled.

Frugal with limited amenities

Wi-fi was hard to connect with so I gave up and ended up traveling to NSU. Quiet place with no loud noise or doors banging. Slept well but was sketchy once I seen a little coachroach in the bathroom. Carpet needs replacement so advise to wear your shoes/socks, great cable service for tv, and the a/c worked well along with the heater.

Worst hotel stay I’ve ever had!

Reviewed By campbellea1403

This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. The whole hotel smelled musty like mildew or mold. They need to completely remodel the hotel and then properly train their housekeeping staff to keep it clean. The tv screen looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The tile floor in the bathroom was cracked. The shower rod was falling down so the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed. The beds felt like sleeping on concrete. And they added to my stay by charging me an extra $50 for 3 towels they “claim” were missing after I checked out. I know we hung the 2 large towels on the back of the bathroom door hook and the hand towel was left by the sink. I called to contest the charge but I was left feeling like I was scammed out of $50 because they knew they could charge my card without permission for that reason. I am very displeased with this hotel and would not recommend to anyone. Please do what I didn’t do and take pictures when you first check in and again when checking out. Maybe that would’ve helped me to contest that stupid extra charge on my card.

Tahlequah Motor Lodge

Almost OK

Reviewed By William S

My wife and I were in Tahlequah on business for the Cherokee National Holiday. We book late and stayed st the Tahlequah Motor Lodge. It is a bare minimum place with no extras. The best thing was the king mattress. It was good quality we slept well. Wifi was not mentioned or offered and there was no breakfast provided. Most places at least have a coffee maker in the room - this place did not. They do not provide any shampoos or lotion, just a bar of soap. It is not a bad place to stay, it is just the very basic and probably best for a short stay.
