Visited Inverdoorn in May 2022 during our stay in Cape Town. We had such a wonderful experience. We stayed at Khughana (5 star tent). We saw all the big 5 animals but best of all - our pool got a daily visit by the elephants (using it as a water hole). ? above expectations!!! We went on all game drives offered and also on the late night drive seeing the beautiful star heaven. If you go - don’t miss this. The star heaven is so clear and spectacular. The food was great! Best of all - the barbecue that the rangers made for us the last night. Loved it! A big thank you ? from Sweden ??

The place is excellent, clean and neat. We used unit 4 and 6 which was self catering. All utensils available. Only negative is the attitude of the owner. She was very cold and behaved in a racist manor. We took a walk around the property which she had a problem with. The husband was a gentleman.

Klondyke Farm is a working fruit farm with cherries, pears and apples. We have 3 self-catering cottages and camping available.
Lovely rural setting with charming small cottage beside a dam. Picturesque and relaxing. Comfortable accommodation with all necessary amenities. Nice area for walking, birding, photography or just lazing on the veranda.

RENOVATED NOVEMBER 2019!! Fairfield Cottages is set on a 100-ha operational fruit farm against the foot of the Skurweberge Mountains. All the self-catering accommodation options have a breathtaking view of the mountains surrounding Ceres valley. The vine covered porches provide the ideal place to enjoy sundowners, while watching the mountains basking in the pink afterglow of the sun or see the full moon rise over the mountains. Each season is special on the farm – winter boast views of snow capped mountains and crystal clear streams running past the cottages, in spring the orchards in pink and white blossoms are breathtaking – so is the abundant wild flowers, summer is ideal for our numerous activities and autumn turns our special town (a mere 6km away) into a picturesque wonderland. Our activities on the farm include hiking trails, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing and bird watching. Fairfield is also home to a variety of wildlife, magnificent fynbos, 2 resident four legged friends (which duty it is to pay a friendly visit to all guests) and a few horses. The self-catering accommodation is also pet-friendly.
Perfect for a breakaway away from the city life. Beautifully set at the foot of the mountain. Peaceful with your own indoor braai and outside bonfire area. There is a private outdoor bathroom which was our favorite part of the trip. We were able to feel very close to nature while taking a relaxing bath in the outdoors. The hiking trails are amazing and there are even rockart trails.

The guesthouse is in a beautiful, tree-lined street with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Close to the CBD, but still sufficiently quiet for an enjoyable, restful stay. We were welcomed by (uncle) Frank, who was most helpful and interested in our well-being. It seems he will stop at nothing to make the stay as memorable as possible - a true gentleman. The well-equipped kitchen ensured that we could prepare our dinner on the first night, and we enjoyed a braai the following night on a small, but well laid out braai area. There was enough wood for our use and comfortable outdoor furniture completed the setting. Most enjoyable!

Our family had a lovely lunch at the Village Guest House. The food was well presented and tasty, the service by Carla top notch. We especially enjoyed their signature dish, the stacked snitchel. The wine list was varied, offering a great local selection. Highly recommend.

The saving grace was the really friendly and cheerful staff. We found the rooms looked clean on the surface, but under the bed was another story – it looked as though it had not been cleaned for decades. Some people are allergic or sensitive to dust. The bathrooms really need modernisation. In view of the water crisis in the country, I would suggest remove the baths and replace with showers.
