Makamah is an amazing nature preserve. It’s large and has tons of twists and turns through the wild that can give even the fittest runners a challenge. It’s beautiful and offers tons of photogenic opportunities. For Nature preserves on Long Island, this is definitely one to go to, on a weekend adventure

Beautiful relaxing 1 mile walk early spring the air filled with sweet wild rose. All summer different flowers blooming, baby swans,geese,rabbits lots of dogs on walks I truely love this place during the day no one there u have the whole place to yourself go enjoy!

Loved loved loved the sunflower maze. I couldn’t believe how large the farm with such beautiful sunflowers. I was surprised at the size of the flowers. A quick walkthrough is a must if you are visiting the area and love sunflowers ????
