We stopped off in Montpelier today, after reading all of the glowing reviews for The Quirky Pet on TripAdvisor. As a huge dog person, I wanted to see a Bergamasco Sheepdog in person and of course, purchase some things for my three dogs that are traveling with us. There was a good selection of healthy treats as well as other dog items. Friendly, fun place with cute dogs!

Today I called Book Garden for help selecting graphic novels for tweens. They could not have been more helpful. Austin suggested books based on having read them and on what I could provide about the kids' tastes. The selections sounded so good that I wanted to read them! I have beautiful Sandman collections, gardening books, and more that I bought in the beforetimes, when we could browse safely in stores. I hope to do that again before long, and the Book Garden will be a first stop.
