Really easy castle to walk. Lots of open space for large groups. The inclines aren't that steep, so it's good for kids and stroller/wheelchair access. Not as slippery and narrow as other castles. Has a rather fancy hotel/restaurant attached. Ample parking. Free activity.

Really good place to visit if doing a day trip out of Lisbon. The area is really well maintained with a really lovely church inside the walls which is still in use today. The views from the walls are great and the day I visited it was extremely clear.

The Castle is nice and you can go inside (it is now a cemitery) and walk around the walls and see the view, there’s also a garden on the outside which is very pleasant.
