We have visited the Famiglia Buccelletti Winery twice now over the last 2 years and have had great visits both times. The folks who work there are incredibly welcoming and friendly, the wines a very good and the location is beautiful. We have taken our two girls both times and they have been welcomed like family. They setup places for our girls in the tasting room with fun snacks and treats. Our visits to the winery have been highlights of our last two trips and we couldnt recommend it more if you are in the area. The valley and the town of Castiglion Fiorentino are both beautiful as well. And a bit off the tourist path which we always enjoy.

You will be welcome by the owners of the old tradition family-run business. The Wine&EVO Oil tour will start from the visit of one of our vineyard where we will tell you some family secrets about our vineyard holding. Back to the winery, you will see the cellar, the barrols room and the Vin Santo room and you will learn a lot about the wine making techniques. The visit will end with the tastings of our wines and organic EVO oil, paired with local and homemade food like prosciutto, salame, cheese and biscuits.

On a whim, with an hour to kill before dinner, I googled wineries and this gem popped up. I have Irene a quick call and 15 mins later all 12 of us were standing in her beautiful property. She was a brilliant guide and gave us an interesting tour of the vineyards and a brief history of the wines her husband and her produce. We had so much fun at the tasting and there were enough toys to distract the little ones in our party that I can to regret having found it so late in the day and so late in our holiday. I can only recommend Gabriele Mazzeschi vineyards as a lovely thing to do on a warm Tuscan afternoon.

We spent our summer vacation in the 'Limonaia' holiday apartment for the third time. Thanks to Antonio and Marinella we simply felt like home and enjoyed two wonderful weeks with the best Tuscan wines and olive oil. We definitely want to come back!!
