We would like to express special gratitude to our manager Faya, he did for us, it seems to me, even more than he could. Any of our questions and non-standard requests were fulfilled almost instantly and everywhere we were met. Faya - you are the best, know it :) Also thanks to sommelier Joseph, who told us which wine to choose for a particular dish every lunch and it was super. Hope to come back in this paradise.

Reviewed By Kristen DThe room was beautiful with a huge bathroom and nice private deck with pool. You have your own little entrance directly to a stunning beach. The food and service were wonderful and the main pool overlooking the crystal clear aqua colored ocean was breathtaking.

Reviewed By 72dinoFuraveri Island Spa and Resort We were told that the meaning is lasting impression and it has to be said it has left an enduring impression of sheer delight. We travelled as two couples and were there for two weeks, and my wife had her 60th birthday there (more on that later). I have been to the Maldives before and stayed in an excellent resort, this was, however, on another level and slightly cheaper being on the affordable 5* luxury end of the scale. On arrival, following a seaplane transfer, we were shown to our Villas which were beach villas with private terrace and walk out directly to the beach, the room was enormous and extremely well appointed. The outdoor bathroom fun and spacey with two showers and a pedestal bath. The bed comfortable and air conditioning efficient The mini bar was well stocked. The buffet restaurant had themed evenings, food was constantly being cooked fresh and re supplied, it was delicious and there was something for everyone’s taste, the pasta station, egg station and specialised dishes were excellent. The bar is spacious and well stocked with over 50 cocktails to choose from, all using branded drinks, honestly if you cannot find something to your taste then I would be surprised. Entertainment was laid on each evening. The beaches are pristine and there is an incredible array of tropical fish within a paddle of the beach, in particular a very large parrot fish that was happy to swim around not to mention the baby black tip sharks. The reef is great for snorkelling and just general paddling swimming is safe in crystal clear waters. The island is small but there is a buggy shuttle available for anyone needing a bit of help, or just being lazy, the spa has a vast selection of treatments and massages and is a lovely environment in its own right. The two specialist restaurants (Asian and Mexican) are excellent, All in all it is a paradise and you simply could not ask for more…. BUT the single most incredible asset the resort has is its staff. I have stayed in many resorts in many places and always like to interact with the staff etc. on Furaveri there are members of staff from wide and afar, most have done several seasons there, returning year after year, they are happy friendly and have a great sense of ownership of the resort and it is literally a family, they will all go more than the xtra mile to make your stay something special. And everyone was treated with the same level of service. Although there were none that I can fault some did stand out, and if you do visit take the time to chat to them they will make it a special experience for you. The resort Manager Michal is a true gentleman, he arranged an amazing evening and a day of treats for my wife on her birthday, we were hosted in the Asian restaurant where the set menu was a little problematic for her as she is vegetarian, but they made a special meal and all was cooked fresh. We just needed to ask. Michal also invited us to try the first day of a New Mexican menu in the specialist Mexican restaurant to give feedback, again it was awesome, the chef is Mexican and the taste authentic, the food was freshly prepared and catered for both a vegetarian and someone who didn’t want anything too spicy. Michal’s deputy Pirbin was equally accommodating and helpful. We spent loads of time talking to them and their enthusiasm rubs off on all the staff. Manu, a lovely lady, who was in charge of a section of the restaurant made you feel like friends from the moment we arrived. Gopal a waiter who was attentive and friendly, and became a true friend. Other waiters of note were Ashraf and Aamir who all made the whole experience a treat At the pasta, egg and specialist stations Nisha was all too willing to make something individual to cater for vegetarian or a particular preference. In the bar Jau, Rishad, Rohit and Hassan all deserve a mention. Our room was serviced by Sohib and Maadin who even gave their numbers to call if there was something we needed out of hours. And Ahmad, the principle entertainer was a great putting on a fire eating show and other general entertainment. I struggle to think of any negatives, it is a truly amazing place with everything you could ask for. Thank you for a great holiday

Reviewed By valo590I couldn’t be more happy with my experience at Cora Cora Maldives. My parents had there wedding held on the island and the staff welcomed and assisted us like we were family. My parents were so happy with the entire wedding and all the logistics handled by the resort. The staff offer top of the line service that extended past expectations. The connections I made with people on the island made my trip very special. I will be revisiting as soon as I can and I wouldn’t consider another resort!

Reviewed By wendybT9487SVThis place is truly paradise. It was our honeymoon and it certainly lived up to expectations of what you would dream about. The staff were so friendly. The resort was so clean everywhere on island. The water villa we stayed in was just perfect. We can't remember the name of our housekeeper but he kept our tea and coffee topped up and ensured we always had plenty of fresh water. We had all inclusive dine around package which was always available to us. We used the in resort app which made life so simple for requests. Ali in the main restaurant was a happy soul and always welcoming. In fact all staff friendly and nothing was too much effort. We took up snorkeling and now have the desire to do more. It felt safe here and the dive centre staff certainly made me feel confident in the water. The highlight of the trip was an excursion to see Manta Ray. We saw 40 plus and the experience will live with me forever. Around the island snorkeling we saw turtle and sharks ( little ones) which was also amazing. Truly an excellent resort. We want to come back because the experience was just so magical.
