Reviewed By CuriousTraveler5050There’s not a lot to choose from for hotels in Mercedes. It’s quite similar to small city hotels in SÃ. It’s clean, comfortable, just big enough for a night or two, WiFi works, friendly, close to restaurants. Really that’s all one needs in a business hotel.

Reviewed By EscalocoThis it´s a good located Hotel at the river side of the Rio Negro. The hotel has a private parking, but it isn´t enough for all the travelers, so you have to arrive early. The price is a litlebit expensive for uruguayan people and more for foreigners. 80 usd, a room for two. The breakfast it´s good, variety, some fruits, bread, mermelade, juices, self service without limit. The rooms are fine, with a small firgobar and flat tv cable. Free wiffi is avaiable in all the hotel. The staff isfriendly. All the instalations are in good conditions. In brief, it is a good option to stay if you aren´t looking a chep place.

The hotel has all the charm of a period property with exposed brickwork on the walls of the restaurant area but the rooms are up to date, clean and well maintained. The staff are very helpful. The city of Dolores has little for the tourist but plenty for the independent traveller wishing to see everyday life in Uruguay.

Room: A standard hotel room with the standard amenities, clean, with the big minus of a not working a/c. Food: Did not have any but the buffet looked decent. Service: Nothing memorable either way.

Reviewed By EMBFSin duda linda casona de campo y hermoso parque. Eramos tres personas y tomamos una habitación doble con baño privado para estar cómodos. La habitación no tiene llave. El interruptor de la luz de una de las habitaciones está en la otra. Dos de las tres lámparas no funcionaban y no las cambiaron. La cortina de enrollar de la ventana no bajaba. El inodoro pierde agua en la base. En el hermoso parque no hay reposeras, los huéspedes bajan sus sillas de playa. El desayuno, es definitivamente una falta de respeto al huésped. Hay solo tres mesas y casi todo, que es bastante poco, tiene mal aspecto. La cocina no es compartida como se indica. No aceptan tarjetas. Ojalá el crítica pueda servir para mejorar. Por cierto, como dicen la mayoría de los comentarios, las tres personas que atienden el lugar son simpáticas.
