We stayed in Samaradiko in August 2021. Very cozy traditional rooms providing extra amenities, super comfortable mattresses, super clean room with a mildly smell of mastic everywhere. Both George (the owner) and Evaggelia (customers' service) are very friendly and helpful and they will do everything in their power in order for their customers to have a memorable stay in Chios. We would definitely go again!

Mesta Mastic

Mesta Mastic is a traditional hotel in the medieval castle of Mesta. The hotel was restored recently, with great respect for the history of the area and its architectural heritage. And so today, Mesta Mastic Studios is an amazing complex of rooms, suites and apartments which combine the village’s history with its present-day life.

Great place, great service

Mesta itself is a wonderful little medieval town or village. This hotel have rooms and suits spread out in the medieval town. We had a large air conditioned room with additional kitchen with all necessary equipment. The staff was very helpful and available at any time we needed something or had a question, even if the reception was situated at another corner of the area within the city walls.

Schinos Apartments

Great stay in a medieval village

Reviewed By GeStak

We stayed at Schinos apartments with my wife during a short visit at Mesta, Chios. The rooms are very conveniently located close to the village’s central square and are refurbished, maintaining however the nice character of the traditional medieval houses. Our host, Michalis, welcomed us even though we arrived earlier than expected and even took us for a mini tour of the village, to show us the main places. Schinos apartments are highly recommended for couples and families wanting a nice and quiet holiday. We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely be back.

Aanrader!!

Friendly reception

Reviewed By Barfota

This is a lodging that I, in a way, would like to rate higher, as the manager is a very friendly and helpful person. And you can't complain about the price. But this isn't really a place for me. I thought it would be an experience to stay in such an old place, but I found both the room and the village too dark to my liking. It was cool in the room, almost on the verge to be damp. But that is how the houses in the village are built. The room is very basic, which I don't mind, and it was clean. There was everything I needed. You can make a small meal, if you wish. Even if the room wasn't tiny, I wouldn't like to stay more than two (there was a mezzanine with an extra bed) and maybe a child, if don't have a lot of luggage. The bathroom was very small. The wifi worked fine for my needs. There is no grocery shop in the village, just a small place with a basic selection. It was nice to hang out at the square of the village and have a drink or two, but the restaurants didn't impress.
