Reviewed By CONatureGirlWe loved our one night stay here. We only had a short time to spend in the cloud forest area but we're glad we stayed here. You feel immersed in nature and you can leave windows open at night (they have screens) to feel the cool mountain air and hear all the sounds of nature. The free breakfast is amazing and delicious, don't skip it! Short walk down into town to explore restaurants, etc. We walked at night and felt perfectly safe, used our flashlight on our phones to be visible to other folks. The trail around the property is serene and peaceful. They have a deck where birds come to eat the fruit they put out and we saw several colorful birds, a coati and an agouti. The staff member working while we were there was super friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Desayuno delicioso y de buen tamaño. Tuvimos problemas con nuestro auto y hasta llamo a su mecánico para que nos ayudara. Realmente un servicio 100% Best place to stay in Monteverde, great location, in the center of the town, the rooms are very clean and all equipment (tv, private bathroom, mini fridge). The owner Deimer incredible kind and helpful. The breakfast is big and delicious. I had a problem with the car, the owner called his mechanic, who helped us fix it. I highly recommend this place!!

Small, family owned lodge located right between the two main roads in the Monteverde Community. The Arguedas Family has owned and operated Bella Vista Lodge with care and pride since 2009. The Arguedas have done their outmost to provide excellent service to each of their guests and continue to do so today. They owned modest and cozy cabins with all the basic items to make your stay a comfortable one. The view from their property is such that the meaning of the name Bella Vista (Beautiful View) is more than obvious upon arrival. Do take into account, that this is a cloud forest and the view will totally depend on those clouds. The Arguedas Family is founder of the Cerro Plano Community right next door to the Monteverde Community founded by Quakers from Alabama on April 19th, 1951. The family will provide personal assistance before and during your stay as well as all the information you may need about the area. Tours, transportation and more may be booked prior to your arrival.

Reviewed By Rita EThe new management of this lovely little hotel is working VERY hard to make sure his guests are happy. Upon arrival he sat down with us and explained & biked all our activities. He is awesome. Simple but delicious breakfast is delivered to our room every morning. Easy walk to nearby restaurants, even for my 84 year old Mom. A bit of noise from the road, but that’s the trade-off for a great location. The bedding is snuggle comfortable! Excellent value!

Dreams Lodge is located in Monteverde, Costa Rica, in a nice private property, away from all the noise. Perfect to relax and listen to the sound of nature. 1.5 km from Santa Elena town. Free private parking is available on site. All units feature a flat-screen TV. Some units have a balcony and/or patio with mountain or garden views. There is a private bathroom with free toiletries in every unit. Towels are provided. Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve is 3 km from Dreams Lodge. 4,8 km from Sky Adventures Monteverde. Selvatura Adventure Park is 7 km away. Juan Santamaría International Airport is 3hrs from the property.

I was greeted at the air[ort by Miguel, one of the drivers from the facility and he immediately put me at ease, he was so informative, kind and helpful. When we arrived we were greeted by Muni, who gave us exotic drinks and one of the warmest welcomes I have ever received. She handled all of my arrangement throughout my stay and left no detail to chance. The dinner at the resort was amazing!!and so was the omelet station at breakfast the next day. The rooms and grounds are immaculate, the staff was friendly and willing to help in any way. I met the owners Carlos and Jonle who treated me like family. It was an amazing stay!!!

Reviewed By johnvincentPhw! On a hill from the town too steep for me. Luckily the taxis were only $3.00. Lovely setting great reception staff friendly and helpful. Not a big fan of wood cabins lovely painted outside but dark wood inside. Great to have a big bath as well as a big shower. Why can’t we get cereal for breakfast. Could do some cushions for the outside chairs bit hard on the reap, as these were the only chairs to sit on. Very noisy from road directly behind rooms No’s 308 to 405vehicles labouring up steep hill. In every hotel breakfast menu was Fruit followed by. American or Local. Always the same. American, two thin strips of bacon cooked too death and fried or scrambled eggs with toast. Local, rice, black, beans. & salad. Got very monotonous for 14 days. We were only staying two night’s so didn’t complain if longer I certainly would want a room change. Quite windy in the night something outside continually banging reported to reception see what happens tonight. Still bagging.
