Een overnachting in Poorter Boutique Hotel is een beleving. Midden in de historische vestingstad Brielle ontvangen wij u in een prachtig boutiquehotel met een intieme, warme sfeer. Elke kamer is hier anders. De luxe die u bij ons ervaart, vertaalt zich in een gastvrijheid die u op weinig plekken tegenkomt. Ons hotel ontleent zijn karakter en de sfeer aan de rijke historie van het pand, één van de oudste gebouwen in Brielle. In elk van onze luxe kamers beleeft u nog altijd de ambiance van de 16de eeuw, maar met het comfort van vandaag. De markante inrichting van elke kamer maakt uw verblijf in het Poorter Boutique Hotel erg persoonlijk; echt een thuisgevoel in een wel heel bijzonder huis!

When I still lived in this area this hotel was still named hotek The Nymph but has been taken over and drastically refurbished by the current owners. And have to say they did a splendid job. The inside looks really stylish whereby one needs to remember that all houses in Brielle's old town cannot just be changed, there are strict rules by the Authorities regarding what can and cannot be done. This to prevent the old heritage of these buildings is being ruined. Anyway, within those boundries the new owners have been able to create something very nice. The lounge and breakfast areas are very nice and welcoming. The room we (cosy room) was on the first floor, one gets there via a bit of a steep stair (as was common in these old houses) but definitely doable. The room as such was spacious with a pretty good size bathroom and a good bed. Also the bathroom amenities were of a very nice quality. The continental breakfast was good although in my view the price of EUR 22,50 is too high for a town like Brielle. These are prices one pays in hotels like Marriott, Hilton, etc.. The entire hotel was everywhere spotless clean and the service of owners and staff is simply spot-on! Well done!! Definitely a hotel we can highly recommend if you intend to visit the Brielle area. There are for sure cheaper options available in Brielle and the surrounding villages like Oostvoorne or Rocknaje but for sure not of the same quality.

Brielle is a nice city with a lot of monuments and a lot of the old defenses are still intact. Behind the historical front sides of the buildings, a lot of nice restaurants an shops are hidden. Food & Beverage At Bastion Hotel Brielle guests can enjoy an extensive continental breakfast buffet, on weekdays from 06.00 Till 09.00 And in weekends from 07.00 Till 10.30. The atmospheric hotel is opened from 11.00 Till 23.00 For lunch and diner. When guests have a very busy schedule they can ask the hotel staff about the possibilities for a lunch package. The cozy hotel bar is opened till 23.30. Parking You can park your car free of charge at the parking of the hotel during your stay depending on availability.

Reviewed By Passenger245826Business trip for 3 nights, I had to stay here since all the hotels around was sold out. Considering that this trip was during Covid 19 pandemy, I was expecting to get the room clean. I used my own sanitizing stuff and I was surprised to see that the desk, the bed side, etc was dirty! basically I cleaned them. I could not open my window since outside was full of spiders and spiders nets...not cleaned since months The sink is unusable, is o small that if you try to wash your face is not enough space to get your head above it, so half of water is going on the floor The shower is OK, but there is no soap support, basically you have to put the soap on the shower floor! All these for a cost of 120 EURO /night

Reviewed By shanzehk1995Comfortable beds, friendly staff and clean rooms. Although bit old but well-maintained. Car access to hotel is actually from street behind and typing Voorstraat into google maps will not get you there in a car as Voorstraat is only for pedestrians.

We arrived 3 hours early but were greeted with warm smiles and tea and cake in the garden. We didn't drink it (sorry) but how generous to leave a bottle of wine in the room. The room was beautiful and the bathroom very luxurious. Breakfast was wonderful. Very, very highly recommended.

Everything you need is provided at the apartment. It is clean and very well heated. The host Joyce was also very kind and nice.
