Lion's guesthouse is a trusted home away from home for a lot of business and holiday travellers. This 5000m2 property gives a lodge feeling in town. All rooms have private access. Lion's guesthouse is the only guesthouse in town with a fully stocked bar and publunches. A swimming pool welcomes you in the courtyard. We also offer a conference facility up to 35 people. Lion's Guesthouse also has an on-site tour operator who can assist you with daily activities. Languages spoken: English, Afrikaans, Sepedi, Zulu, Dutch, Flemish, French and a little bit of German.

Reviewed By DE246810What a beautiful stay we had. Extremely friendly staff (nothing was ever a problem) wonderful food, immaculately clean rooms and the grounds were breathtaking. Staff were extremely willing to help and assist with special requests and the fact that they are pet friendly just made our stay even more memorable. A special thank you to Sara and Bernice for all your assistance and hard work. We will defiantly be back in the not to distant future!

Reviewed By MattieMcCAfter a long week of slogging around the back corners of SA, holed up in dodgy B and B’s I certainly was expecting more of the same coming to Groblersdal. Boy was I wrong. The gardens are lush and inviting, the rooms are spacious and look recently refurbished, with the stylish bathroom having a stunning bath as well as a separate shower with MASSIVE shower head. The best tonic after a long week. We were met by 2 very polite and hospitable “tannie’s” who gave us a superb tip of going to the Kooperasie for dinner (R125 for a 700gr prime rib was the winner). The guesthouse is in the suburbs of town and not in the beautiful surrounding farmlands but this is a welcome sacrifice for the class and comfort that Familia provides. Great job!

Unfortunately on my side it was not the case as I had to realise that it was the only better town to spend the night. I phoned the guest house and was initially told that the place was fully booked. I got another call aftre few minutes from the quest lodge and was told that someone had canceled. I got there and was intraoduced to my room. it was very clean, nice sheets, air conditioning working, fridge and DSTV. The hosting lady was very interractive and friendly. It was a warm stay

Reviewed By 153guestgEverything at Wildwood are neat and clean - soft linen and towels are provided with nice coffee/tea facilities in the room. The food at the restaurant is excellent, especially the breakfast is superb. All the staff are very friendly and going out of their way to make sure that the guests are satisfied. Will definitely visit again!
