Murals Of Pine Bluff

Reviewed By JCarterWatts - Pine Bluff, Arkansas

The murals located in the downtown area of Pine Bluff are very well done and display some of the history of the city. However, time and no maintenance have ruined a few of them and I don't see a movement to save them happening any time soon. Though they are good, they are not worth making a trip to Pine Bluff for.

I've attended performances, attended various travelling displays, and taken community education type classes here. It's a great facility in a town where it is sorely needed. the Center is well maintained and offers comfortable seating in the main performance hall.
The schedule and presentations vary widely, and all are very enjoyable!

Escape Room 104 is a live action interactive game. You are locked in a room. You have 60 minutes to figure out the mystery of the room and escape. Players work together to discover secrets, unravel riddles and solve puzzles. Can you and your team solve the clues, find the key and escape within 1 hour?

Escape Room 104 is located inside the Pines Mall. We went in the doors near the food court and it was right around the corner from there.

This was a fun room to do. We did a Diamond Dilemma which is themed as a deserted island which your plane has crashed near. (Think Tom Hanks on Castaway.) We have done several escape rooms before and this was totally different from most rooms. At first glance there really didn't seem to be very much in the room. We are used to seeing desks with locked drawers and maps and pictures on the wall, so we weren't sure how to tackle the room. We had a group of 10 people and once we got going there were a lot of clues and puzzles hidden around to find. We spent a lot of time working on one puzzle so it didn't look like we would escape, but we did manage to get out with about one minute left. It was a fun time for all.

You have 60 minutes to solve the room, but get there early for instructions and then stay to get your picture taken afterward.

Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Historical Museum

Reviewed By JCarterWatts - Pine Bluff, Arkansas

The Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Historical Museum is located in the old Cotton Belt railroad depot. The exhibits are changed on a regular basis because they have so much in storage. There is a large exhibit on the Civil War and the battle in the streets of the city in 1863. The company flag of the Jefferson Guards, a local Confederate unit is on permanent display. It is a nice little museum that deserves a city that appreciates it.
