Great place to get apples, pumpkins, squash, etc. Great hosts that made you feel welcome and that you got what what you needed. They offer rides to the pumpkin patch and around the orchard. Have a great store with apples already picked and bagged plus other local produce/honey, crafts, and art. Great place to take children. We loaded our trunk. Have been there before and will be back again.

Shady Hollow Flea Market

Reviewed By carpitt - Rochester

Shady Hollow is a great flea market. A lot of vendors with a great variety of goods to buy. There were vendors with glassware, clothing, tools and household goods, recycled items, etc. I saw just about anything one would look for at a flea market. We looked around for 2.5 hours then had some lunch.. They have a grill and pizzaria which serves hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, cheese curds plus a few other items. The lemonade we had was the best I have ever bought at this type of event. We spent another 2.5 hours shopplng after lunch & pretty much covered every booth. Had a great time.

When asking about other nail salons in the area, the receptionist proceeded to tell me that "Um...well..there are some across town by the Vietnamese people..." Not sure why she had to single them out by their ethnicity but it was offensive and rude. I went there twice and on both times, the receptionist tried to charge me wrong.

SuLaine's Antique Mall

I was surprised to find this mall was quite large, and filled with lots of merchandise. There are items for those who collect hunting and fishing gear, old toys and some new ones, dishes, bric-a-brac, collectibles, etc. It's clean and well laid out and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Definitely worth an hour or more to stretch your legs and browse.

Timberline Ranch

Reviewed By noranekko - Acton, Massachusetts

I was visiting the area and wanted to do something a bit different than spending time on the lake. Someone had suggested horseback riding and I was very lucky to have found Timberline Ranch. I called Ann and she was able to set all three of us up for a trail ride the next morning. She was easy to work with on the phone.

I've had some experience on a horse, but am still a novice. However, neither my son nor husband have ridden. Ann was attentive to all of us, but not overbearing. A lot of that has to do with her knowing her horses and giving us horses that are gentle. I suspect that a more experienced rider will get a horse that will respond well to that rider.

We had a nice trail ride (which took over an hour). Ann was great about taking photos for us and giving us lots of cookies to give as nice rewards to our horses.

If I lived in the area, I would be back with out any hesitation.
