Claremorris is the fastest growing town in County Mayo. There was a 31% increase in the town's population between 2006 and 2011 and a 23% increase between 2002 and 2006.The population of Claremorris in the 2011 Census was 3,979. rising to 4,487 in 2016. Claremorris Municipal Area has a population of 32,000 people.

This is a lovely park and very geared up for youngsters keeping them occupied with the Giant's belongings all around the park as they walk. We did the full walk and really enjoyed it. We had no children with us but thought it was great that children could feed the ducks etc.

Great place for childrens party. Safe and clean. Children really enjoyed it , staff helpful and friendly. Food and drinks for the children and coffee for us mums. Highly recommend this, for parties and rainy days.

Took two friends here for lunch after it being recommended to me and I was sorry I did. Not a bit welcoming and very cold. We were shown to a table by a waitress; it was only set for two and she didn't add the extra setting. We perused the menu and spent our time playing 'spot the errors'. Whom ever did out the menu would want to visit spec savers; the amount of errors is unacceptable for a professional establishment. Spending so much time putting leaflets around the town advertising lunch, I would seriously put the time into getting the menu right, jazzing up the Seating area and make sure that the venue is ready for service before lunch. I won't be back.

What a great little place.
Daughter was wanting an ice cream and we saw the giant ice cream advertising outside the shop.I waited outside shop with our dog.Friendly owner also had beagle and was chatting away and said it was ok to bring dog inside.
Does this shop sell alcohol? Well this shop has a bar out the back!!!
Enjoyed a few pints and ice creams whilst talking to very friendly owners about all things beagle.
Great little find of an old style bar,with welcoming owners.
If your in Claremorris pay here a visit and experience a bar you don't often see.

The selection of products are of a great variety. My personal favourite (The Ducks) are honestly a lovely addition that doesn't interfere with the traditional integrity of the shop. i admire the variety of bags available, and I cannot wait to get a new bag in there soon! Also: The owner.... (Noreen I think) is honestly such a dote and is a fantastic employee.

An Equestrian Centre of Excellence run by The Hanley Family, Showjumping Medal Winners with many caps on Irish Showjumping Teams. At the Centre you will find everything that is Equestrian related from Stallions, Sport Horses, a Riding School, Regular Showjumping & Dressage Events, Horse Sales, Tack & Feed Store and much much more. Weather is never a problem as there is a large indoor arena.

We really enjoyed our visit - My husband and I went horse riding with our two children - the atmosphere was friendly, the staff professional, the instruction excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience so much so that the children went back for the Pony Camp - highly recommend and weather isn't a problem as it's all indoor

This is a hidden gem in a great small town in the West of Ireland. Shine Boutique has 2 floors of fashion, accessories handbags and little trinkets. I was just passing through the town and was delightfully surprised. Not alone can you pick up lots of great pieces for your wardrobe you can also accessorize! Well worth a visit if you are in the area! Highly recommend it and the girls there couldn't do enough. Lovely to see these types of boutiques alive and well in the heart of the West of Ireland.

The Clogher Heritage Complex features the Heritage Cottage and Cottage Garden with a display of vintage farm machinery, a water feature and a picnic area. The restored working forge is open to visitors - Stauntons Forge, Newtown was authentically rebuilt in its former form in 1999,and it reopened in 2001. The Heritage Complex is also the starting point for the Clogher Bog Walk, a loop walk of 8km. The walk takes in the biodiversity of the flora of the bogland, which is a unique habitat for both common and rare protected species. There are many archaeological features worth viewing on the walk and in the locality. A selection of these is on this site as well as a collection of folklore tales and history of the area.

The Clogher Heritage Complex includes the Heritage Cottage and Staunton’s Forge. In the Cottage Garden there is a display of vintage farm machinery, a and a picnic area with a water feature.
The land on which the cottage and garden stands was donated by Mrs. B. Cosgrave and family of Newtown, Clogher.
The Heritage Cottage is newly constructed, built in 2003, the labour and expertise supplied by our local FÁS CE Scheme.
The restored working forge is open to visitors - Stauntons Forge, Newtown was authentically rebuilt in its former form in 1999,and it reopened in 2001.
Every effort has been made to reproduce a typical one bedroomed labourers’ cottage, it includes a cailleach (a bed in an alcove) and a loft. The loft would have been used as extra bed space but currently contains an excellent display of churns and other artifacts. Local residents have donated many of the items on display
