Having done our Open Water certification here last year, we came back to both dive and snorkel with Omega Divers.
Once again they were superb. We did a refresher dive, a morning snorkelling with the non-divers in our group and the dived the Elephant Cave which is an absolute must see if you are here and can dive.
Very laid back but very helpful and reassuringly competent, I can't rate them highly enough.

Absolutely LOVED this trip!!! There were 7 of us in total, ranging from age 78 to 17. George was brilliant, he made us all so welcome and made sure we totally understood the safety aspects of the trip.
George was extremely knowledgeable about the coast and the caves. He had a good sense of humour and was great fun. He showed us all how to use the snorkelling equipment and we had great enjoyment swimming in the beautiful warm turquoise sea. There were shoals of colourful fish to follow and interesting plant life. We even saw a scorpion fish!
Overall we all agreed it was the BEST day of our two week holiday, and I totally recommend it Thank you George

Surprisingly for a small holiday village in Crete, this jewellers had high class stock as well as items
for holidaymakers gifts to take home.The couple who run the shop were very pleasant, very helpful with nothing too much trouble.
I bought my wife a ring for her 70th birthday, which appeared excellent value.the ring had to be
re-sized and this was done within 36hours!! Wonder what it would have been in UK?.
Quite a refreshing example of what a small business can achieve.Apparently the shop has a number of repeat customers coming quite a distance to buy.Certainly, my wife will be back next
year- another credit card job!!

When we first came across The Cantina we loved it, right at the far end of the beach next to the little marina.
A perfect place to relax, we tended to go in the afternoon for a swim in the lovely warm sea then relax with a nice drink watching the amazing sunsets. You can hire sunbeds €6, the bar is great really nice people and the snake food is cooked in a little caravan and it is good. Pizza, sandwiches, chips, toasties and various others nibbles. Good Beer, Wine soft drink and ice creams. You can either eat drink on your sunbed or at their tables right on the beach.
We just like relaxing here and it makes our holiday such a great place to chill out.
Go and try it you will not be disappointed.

A beautiful shop, lovingly displaying a beautiful array of clothing (all made in Italy or Greece), jewellery and gifts. I came by once and ended up coming back several times to buy gifts and also many gifts for me! Dimitri and Sofia are kind, warm and wonderfully hospitable owners, with a wonderful eye for design as well as kindly hearts. Well worth a browse, and with everything very reasonably priced, worth picking up a few lovely pieces to take home.

The Ifigenia's shop has a wide selection of clothing and swimwear for the woman the man and the child, also anything you need for the beach, and before your departure traditional souvenirs!

We have been to this bar so many times, in fact every time we come to Almyrida, it normally starts and ends our evenings in the village. The first time was 3 years ago we loved it then and love it even more now.
The cocktails we think are the best in Almyrida the locations is really good right on the beach. The bar is large lots of Seating, we like sitting outside at the back looking at the sea perfect. The service is spot on helpful if you are unsure about what cocktail and they are very well made and lots of them, there is also wine beers etc.
They have a large screen for various things and also do a Karaoke, and Yoga in the mornings.
We had a great time there this year with our family.
