Virginia Creeper Trail

A bike trail challenging to both beginners and experts.

Some friends had told us about the trail a couple of years ago. We had a great time, rented a bike and shuttle service to the top of the trail. The part from White Top down to Damascus is pretty much all down hill and is pretty easy, even if you haven’t ridden in a while. There are several places to stop along the way and the scenery is great.

My husband and I went to the Moonlight Drive In to see the Barter production of A Christmas Carol. They play was great and the workers have gone above and beyond to keep everyone safe from COVID. There’s even someone sanitizing the port a potty after every user. The radio station provided great sound and the oh screen was helpful too since we were a little farther back.

The variety of high quality infused oils and vinegars is mind blowing and getting to taste a huge variety in the store wonderful. I absolutely love this place and stop in any time I’m in the area. This scenic rail to trail park extends for about 34 miles from Damascus, Va to Abingdon. I walked for about an hour and a half and really liked it. There seemed to be a lot of trees along the trail. I'm guessing this would be a great place for a summer hike or bike ride if you like well shaded trails.

The Love Spell February Special was a perfect way to spend the afternoon at Salt of the Earth. The CDB massage with Kai was fabulous and the red light therapy was amazing. After so many gloomy days in February it was a great way to bring energy for the rest of the month! Jill and her staff are super professional and kind. The social distancing protocol was on point and made me feel comfortable in every way. Thank you!
