Recently visited the complex to watch the Flag Football World Championships. Both men & women’s teams from all around the U.S. came here to compete. And why not? What a fantastic place for tournaments. This newly opened complex comprises 160 acres of sports facilities. There is on site Wi-Fi and parking for 1,000+ cars. All this within 3 miles of the “World’s Most Beautiful Beaches”. What’s not to love?? Other Amenities include: *13 tournament fields including nine with Astroturf *5 collegiate-size baseball fields *7 batting cages *10 220-foot softball/baseball fields *Dedicated tournament fields *LEF lighted fields *Multiple on site concession stands & restrooms *2 Championship fields with seating for up to 1500 spectators FYI... Lots of construction happening and lots more planned. A new hotel is opening immediately adjacent to the complex. Walk out the back door and you’re on the field.

Hidden Lagoon Golf and Racetrack

Went here with my children (12,10,4) the height requirement was greater than 56 inches and my son was right over the line and the lady said he couldn’t drive, which was kind of sad, but he still had a great time riding passenger with my husband. Really long track. Going before 5 saves a lot of money. Went to another track so my son could drive and it was certainly not as good and interesting as Hidden Lagoon!

Russell Fields City Pier

Reviewed By casey101m - Wisconsin, United States

We were on the pier every day of our visit. It was $4 for everyone except fisherman which cost $7. My husband and son went out morning and night and caught some fish to bring home. My daughter and I went out to visit them. The price added up but if you want to just walk out once to see, it is well worth it. We did notice that around sunset the pier became very busy so avoid that time of the day unless the sunset is what you are after.

M.B. Miller County Pier

Reviewed By DRroadrunner - Owensboro, United States

(Prices below!) My son and I went down here to fish for a couple of hours and didn’t have any gear with us. You can easily rent a basic rod and reel rig and a cart(if needed), buy bait, and buy things like tackle, a knife, pair of pliers, beverages, ice, styrofoam coolers, nets, etc. They need to make a copy of your license to rent you equipment. Parking is free and ample! There is a $6 per person charge to go on the pier to fish. They give you an armband that is good for the day. Costs to rent rod and reel are $12 up to 6 hours. A cart is $10 up to 6 hours. If you want to marathon fish, you can get a rod and reel for $25 and a cart for $15 from 6-24 hours. Bait is $4.50 to $5 a box. They have shrimp, squid, cigar minnows, finger mullet, and sand fleas. There is also a good selection of artificial bait. The staff at the store was helpful and friendly. They give recommendations on bait and will help you rig your gear if needed. Now, all that said, we didn’t catch a darn thing. But, that is how fishing works sometimes! We still had a good time hanging out. The more serious fishermen at the end of the pier seemed to be having a little better luck, but not too much when we were there. If you got any good info or useful tips from this review, please give me a helpful vote! Thanks for reading!
