This antique mall is huge!! It is also well organized so it is pleasant to walk among all the antiques. I actually found something I have been trying to find for 2 years!!

When we visit the Newport Aquarium, we also enjoy walking around the mall and along the Ohio River. On warmer days, several restaurants have outdoor seating with beautiful views of the Cincinnati skyline and different boats on the river. We have enjoyed our meals at Brothers Bar Grill and Mitchell's.

Rookwood Pavilion and Commons are actually two side-by-side shopping centers located on the 20+ acres that once were occupied by a huge factory complex operated by the Leblond Machine Tool Company. We remember reading somewhere that the Leblond family were involved in the original development of these shopping centers and the seven-story Rookwood Tower office building next door. This might explain some of the architectural details seen particularly in the Rookwood Pavilion part of the shopping center, including the rather imaginative reuse of the factory's original powerhouse as a restaurant (complete with its impressive brick smokestack) and the clock tower at the other side of the Pavilion (which actually is a corner of the factory's original office building). Other buildings built new for the shopping center echo some of the architectural details from the factory, most noticeably the structure housing the Stein Mart with the white medallions at the upper corners of the facade echoing similar details on the powerhouse and clock tower, as well as the green-yellow tile work which mimics the tile work also seen on the clock tower and the fleur de lis inserts in the brickwork (the Leblond trademark also seen on the smoke stack). As shopping centers, the Pavilion and Commons house over 70 stores, restaurants, gyms, etc. A lot of the retailers (Nordstrom Rack, Victoria Secret, Joseph A. Banks, T J Maxx, Gap, and dozens more) tailor to clothing and shoes, others such as Bed Bath and Beyond and Mattress Firm offer home goods. There are specialty stores offering a variety of products and services - cell phones (AT&T and T-Mobile), eyeglasses (LensCrafters), shipping services (UPS Store), banking (Huntington and Third Federal), etc. There is a huge Joseph Beth Bookstore (the main reason we come here), a Whole Foods supermarket, and a wide variety of eating establishments (everything from Starbucks to fast food like Five Guys and Qdoba to sit-down restaurants like P. F. Chang's and LongHorn Steakhouse - the powerhouse used to house a Don Pablo's, but it closed over the summer. The only downside is that parking during the busier times of the day can be hard to find, and the access to the backside Commons shopping area could be better (basically you can't get to directly from the surrounding streets and have to drive around from the Pavilion side of the complex.

Hands down, one of my favorite antique malls. It's not too big and not too little -- it's "just right." Super clean, friendly and helpful (masked) staff. I love vintage, so Manor is my favorite booth there -- wonderfully curated selection-- no garage sale/rummage pieces. Most booths are reasonably priced and there's not a lot of junk or flea market stuff. Great place for some gorgeous antiques and vintage pieces.

We went two days here on our visit to Florence. It was a great place to be. There are tons of stores, JCP, Macy’s, Spencer’s, shoe places, a candy store, putt putt glow golf, a relax table massage place, and a free play place for kids. The play place entertained my 6year old for a good 2 hours while the rest of the family went where they wanted. They have a carousel that is only $3, which is a decent price IMO. They have push carts for kids if you need them...mine wakes of course since he is 6. But, it was a good time all in all.
