Kohima (/koʊˈhiːmə/  pronunciation (help·info)) is the hilly capital city of India's north eastern state of Nagaland. With a resident population of 99,039 it is the second largest city in the state. Originally known as Kewhira, it was founded in 1878 when the British Empire established its headquarters of the then Naga Hills. It officially became the capital after the state of Nagaland was inaugurated in 1963.

Dzuleke

Reviewed By ssushant77 - Bangalore District, India

Dense jungles, never before seen flora, bisons grazing around lazily unperturbed by human activities, wind blowing hard against the trees and leaves creating the sound effects of a distant rumbling waterfall, transparent water running along the road, sunlight and clouds playing hide and seek in those lofty hills of Nagaland..... Welcome to Dzuleke, one of the best places ever created by nature and fortunately not yet destroyed by human. Me and my partner in crime, Naresh were taken on a trip here by Pooja and Aka, against the usual advice of visiting Kisama village. And we will always be grateful to both Pooja and Aka for taking us to Dzuleke. Each and every step to Dzuleke from Khonoma village is worthy of being a picnic spot. Anyone visiting Kohima, pls don't forget to experience nature at its best in Dzuleke.
