For 15 CUC per person we rode through the Silent Valley. The tour is fairly commercial as you are taken to lots of stops along the way for drinks, to buy coffe, tobacco and rum (rember to bring plenty of cash for suvineers). At each of these stops there an opitunity to learn from the farmers the process of making their products. Cigar - 4CUC Bottle of Rum - 20CUC Cocktails - 4CUC Lunch at Palador - 10CUC

During my stay in Viñales I could enjoy the valley doing different activities, horse riding, bike riding, trekking... Everything was amazing and you really enjoy of one the best nature views of Cuba.

I really enjoyed the challenge of hiking up to the Cave and for a km. inside the cave. I can't say enough about our wonderful guide, Michael, who helped me as an older person every step of the way. I have never experienced such care and concern from a guide; the cave is varied, unique, and special for the traveler. You have to wear a helmet with a light on its front to light your way. If you are able to hike, I would recommend this trip. I would not recommend it if you are walking or climbing challenged.

This is a relatively short hike into a cave and easy walking. It is a good experience for people who want to feel the reality of a cave but do not want to hike a long distance.

I visited the Jardin Botanico and enjoyed the 15 minute tour very much. It was great to see and learn about the different flora in Cuba. Our guide was knowledgeable and very nice. Check it out.

Only a short cave compared to the Cuevas de India. This was where the slaves hid. Good little show at the end, bit touristy, My guide used to work there so I got a bit extra. Buy some honey near the exit
