Still stuck in my memory of my first ascent in Central Java, I arrived at the summit of Mount Prau on that day to enjoy the sunset, the red sky turned orange and then turned bluish and then darkened, close my tiring day. And when I wake up in the morning, I deliberately hunt the sunrise and watch the black sky turn purple, the best moment is when the sun starts to rise slowly, Java Island is very exotic.

Mt. Sikunir is sunrise view point where located at sembungan village - no public transport if we want to go to this place ,best time to depart from your homestay if your homestay around dieng plateu is at 03:00 AM , will reach in 20 minute ,passing the dark road without any lamp ,so you must be careful if you ride your own motorbike ,we'll see the light at the end of road and parking park. we can park our vehicle around the entrance and parking park. Afterward we do trekking up for 45 minute, prepare a warm jacket because the wind will be so cold.

I am Yoga Efendi, a Traveler from Yogyakarta. Telaga Warna is a natural wonder in Dieng Plateau, Java Island - Indonesia. There are some best location to see this lake but I just give you my favourite spot, Batu Ratapan Angin. This spot is special coz you will see two different colors from the Giant Volcano rock. I recommend you to hire a guide in Dieng.

Came here on the last stop of my trekking itinerary. The site reminds me of Yosemite/Yelowstone. The sulfuric gases are remarkable and you can really get up and close to this stuff.

Great escape from Yogyakarta for sunrise at Sikunir, Arjuna Temple and active crater. Beautiful views of potato and veggies terraces so unusual to typical rice terraces around all Indonesia. Great views of other volcanos around.
