Failaka island is absolutely a must while visiting Kuwait. The trip starts out with a taxi boat ride to the island. They have a small resort there if you choose to stay the night or the weekend. You can simply spend a day as well. This island offered family activities from renting electric scooters, visiting the museum, kayaking, 4 wheeling, picnicking on the beach or, visiting the horse stables and small zoo they have. Don’t forget the historical value this island holds, much to learn with the tank boneyard and war stricken structures.
