Staff was friendly and miles of smiles welcoming you. Beautiful patio to catch the sun starting a new day while drinking coffee and looking at the ocean.

This is a great base from which to explore False Bay, the whale and wine routes and nature reserves. We are a quick walk from the long, famous beach, with its stretch of high rises and vibey eateries. Come relax in a tranquil garden with water features (get your zen on), a braai so you don’t get hungry, and DSTV and free wi-fi so you don’t lose touch with the unreal world.

Very few guesthouses have a bathtub in the bathroom. I felt like a queen taking a bath in this one. The queen-size bed helped alot of course. This is worth a visit, whether it is for one night only or a whole weekend. I was traveling solo but taking your beloved with will make your stay extra special for both.

Lovely Victorian style house high ceilings each room has a fridge and aircon hairdryer tea coffee tray electric blankets we are pet friendly we are 7 min walk from the beach white sands and lovely restaurants 30 min from V& A Waterfront and Table Mountain 2 hours from nearest Game Park which we organise for u 1 hour from penguin beach 2 hours from Cape Point 7 min from Strand Golf Course just over 1 hour from Hermanus where u see the Whales in September 10 min from Stellenbosch wine farms and lots more

The house has a lot of character and charm and is a convenient walk to what we think is the best beach in the Cape Town area. Gerry and Harriet made us feel welcome and were quite generous and helpful - and served great breakfasts as well. Highly recommended!
