Reviewed By SometimesSkiingDid not expect much for the price. Rooms are very very small, you need to squeeze past the beds, there is no frills. The worst part of the rooms was the noise, the windows are poorly insulated and the air conditioning unit has holes are it, so all outside noise could be heard. It also let in the cold air. The area is also quite doggy, always somebody outside smoking, heavy traffic and not much around. The best thing about the room was the showers, you can actually stand under the shower rose. The hotel is fine for a nights accomodation if you want a cheap bed, but not comfortable if you are staying for multiple nights.

Reviewed By Maisie DThe price is reasonable but what you are expected is a budget motel. Very centralised location and convenient to different places. The hotel is just off to the main road which is quite noisy throughout day and night. Even at 11pm at night or 6am in the morning, you would expect the tram and car noise. No room service at this moment. You can ask for new linen if it’s a long stay but it’s not encouraged. Limited sanitary and toiletries supply in the room. You need to ask all the time. ( only a few packs of shampoo are provided. No conditioner or shower gel) No complimentary bottle of water are provided. Room is a bit dusty. Bed is hard not very comfy. Car space is available but the entrance through the arcade is quite narrow to manoeuvre your car in. Sound proof system from room to room is not great. You should pray for a good neighbour who don’t come back in the midnight. This so called hotel is a budget motel standard. You don’t expect too much. A short stay is fine.

Reviewed By SometimesSkiingWhile I was trying to keep costs cheap, so my expectations were not too high, I was disappointed with our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the motel was well located for where we needed to go. But it is an older motel that has some refurbishment. While there was secure parking, it was tight and you had to battle all the smokers that were in the car park before you could get into the door. The room was average with fresh bedding, it was clean and comfortable. The problem we had were: 1. The free wifi was non existent, we were in a room right at the end and it would appear there would only be one access point which could not reach our room. 2. The shower was way too low, I am just on six foot but the shower rose was below my head, the hot water took 2 minutes to come though, so it was not a pleasant experience having a shower. 3. The controls for the aircon/heater were missing. 4. You could hear what was happening in the room next door. This did not make for a good stay.

Whilst we drove the length of Elizabeth St. we parked for free and walked across the road for access to trams into the Melbourne CBD. Tram cards “myki” can be purchased at the servo on the corner. So these conveniences were key reasons for our choice and the park’s set up was a real bonus. The heated spa is in the pool compound, and is convenient to all sites. There are plenty of cabins and sites, so it may get busy at times other than when we were there.

Reviewed By Sarge262Disgusting, stale smell in the room, mould on the bathroom ceiling, NO HOT WATER, paper thin walls and can hear your neighbours snoring. The only thing this place has got going for is it’s location. There was smashed plates in the car park and cigarette butts all around the entry to room and on the walk ways around the motel. Toilet seat broken, and NO HOT WATER.

Our facilities are recently renovated, clean and smoke free. Free Wi-Fi access to all guests as well as free parking. We offer a safe, friendly environment for business people and holiday makers alike. We are located on the city fringe in the near the vibrant Sydney Road area. Easy access into the CBD with tram stops close by.

Reviewed By theresej610We were booked and paid for a 'family suite serviced apartment ' on 25/26 Dec On arriving everything about the motel room (except sheets) was filthy and dated/ damaged. Described as a non- smoking room it smelled of cigarettes and the smell got worse with bathroom fan on. In spite of this there was a warning to wash and dry dishes or an extra charge would be made. The information folder advised against use of premised for drug use or prostitution and I suspect it is used for both. I made contact with the manager and he refused even a partial refund. DO NOT book this under any circumstances.
