Reviewed By taesgroUnit was misrepresented, no utensils for cooking,glasses, silverware,plates,pots&pans etc. no hot water for two nights, carpeting needs a good shampoo, bathroom caulking mildew. Cooking odor, I believe because of long term stays.

The negatives - the outside of the building and parking lot need a lot of love. The hallways need a good steam cleaning, if not 3 or 4. Popcorn ceiling tiles. The rooms feel dated & dirty with carpeting. Final thoughts: For $80-85/night, this is what I'd expect. For $100+/night, I can get better elsewhere,

Noisy heating system in an otherwise lovely hotel.
Reviewed By Regina KFresh and clean, were it not for the loud heating/AC system, this hotel would be a five star based on the staff, the rooms, and the overall facility. It may depend on which floor the room is on. My first stay was excellent - third floor. Hot breakfast needs help if you like healthy food.

Parking is awful, outside entrances to rooms looks like a back alley, rotted wood all around door frames, musty smell, just about everything was stained, walls, drapes, the one chair in the room was filthy, sheets were dingy, pillowcases were stained with looked like make up. The bed… ugh, was low to the floor and hard as a rock, if it wasn’t so late in the evening would have gone somewhere else, breakfast, skip it, just a small counter inside the tiny lobby where u check in. Definitely don’t book here!!!

Awesome Host/Quaint B&B
Reviewed By Angela GBert is an amazing host who communicates with you the day of your arrival, so that he can greet you when you arrive and show you around. We stayed in the Silo room and enjoyed the ambiance. Bert took the time to talk with us, find out what we wanted to do and gave us recommendations. We enjoyed the sites and restaurants he recommended, especially the Lackawanna Coal Mine tour and Cooper's Seafood. Breakfast was amazing both days with fresh fruit, a pasty/bread, and the main course (omelets one day and blueberry pancakes the next). Bert even accommodated changes to the meal, as I don't eat eggs and my man doesn't like blueberries. We really enjoyed chatting with Bert after breakfast and learning about the history of the B&B and about the area.
