From the moment we arrived and were shown around our villa, up until the moment we left, we were treated like family. On arrival, we received a complimentary breakfast pack (eggs, bread, butter, milk and juice along with an assortment of condiments) - oh, and a bottle of sparkling wine! The accommodation was very comfortable; two king size rooms, an en-suite with massive shower off one of the rooms and a shower over spa tub in another. The lounge was equipped with dvd player (and hundreds of dvds to borrow from the office) and with free WIFI internet (which can be patchy with iphones but we got around that problem). Laundry was $5 per load; $5 for washing and $5 for clothes drier (there was no need for the drier as the weather was perfect and clothes could be hung on the line provided in the cabin). The resort provided a rental car complimentary (with only the insurance to be paid daily) which was very useful to explore the island. There was a heated spa on-site which was lovely to take a dip in. There were three little dogs on site who belonged to the owner; the dogs were so friendly. I can't thank Gail and Rael enough for our wonderful stay. We saw Gail and Rael most days on their walk past our cabin and were always with a smile on their face.

Reviewed By bronnietripsLight and airy. Tropical feel. Lunch until 4pm served with a smile. Other restaurants close at 2pm. Cider and boutique beers on tap. Delicious cocktails.Some healthy choices on the menu. Remember everything is imported and if the boat can’t get in because of the weather then the food shops are empty. You can take any food with you to Norfolk.

Very, very tired and poorly maintained
Reviewed By Peter MI can't fault the hospitality or the view. Sadly though, the condition of the apartments and the general premises is an eyesore. The driveway and gardens are overgrown with grasses and general foliage that seemingly haven't been cared for in quite some time. As for the apartments themselves, regular maintenance and basic upkeep appears to be non-existent. The entire premises needs a good scrubbing, a new paint job and a completely new fitout of lighting, tapware, shower-screens, fly-screens and furniture. Without a major facelift and investment, unfortunately these apartments can only be rated as "basic" at best.

Set in sun tropical gardens, 5 minutes drive away from beautiful Emily Bay and the World Heritage listed Convict ruins. We have large, spacious, comfortable apartments, both one and two bedrooms, all having ensuite bathrooms. Just a short stroll to shops, cafes and Tour offices. You wont be disappointed you stayed here.

A smaller property located at the other end of Burnt Pine, while still close to a few cafes and restaurants. This property has privacy, comfort and a central location for the holidaymaker looking for excellent accommodation at a great price.
Relaxing Tudor at Burnt Pine
Reviewed By iainc92We spent 9 Nights at the Tudor Apartments, part of Aloha Apartments. Sue Buffet and Annescia looked after us on arrival. They were so polite,helpful and couldn’t do enough to welcome us and make our stay memorable. Sue had booked all our tours, restaurant and hire car bookings. Between the two of them they gave us all the tips to assist our stay. The apartments were spacious, very comfortable, well appointed (full kitchen with gas appliances) and the hot water was great. Location was perfect with a short walk out the back gate and down the hill to Castaways (best Pizza and craft beer on the island), across the road to a convenience store, the RSL and about a 500 metre walk into the main part of the Town. A wonderfully relaxing stay and I’d recommend Aloha/Tudor apartments for a family stay.

Lovely, quiet place .... just perfect
Reviewed By Elisabeth PEverything was easy and smooth ... pick up at the airport, with hire car ready. Short tour through town, pointing out shops, etc. The friendly locals, who give you a wave when passing .... The warm welcome by Wayne, everything ready for us, explanations, maps, anything we may need to know. A complimentary 1/2 day island round trip was organised for us for the following morning. The house was absolutely beautiful and in tranquil location. Well equipped kitchen, milk in the fridge, comfortable bed, private BBQ and outside area, laundry... there was nothing missing. The recommended restaurant "Dino's" (we had a birthday to celebrate) was stunning and the food delicious. To sum it up - it was a perfect holiday.
