Hired Captain JP for both a frogging trip and also for a gator hunt in the everglades. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a successful frogging trip. The next morning he had them all cleaned and ready to cook and they were amazing! Next was the gator hunt. Again he went way above and beyond to ensure a successful gator hunt. Brought home a huge 8 foot gator. Captain Jason is a professional guide who makes your trips alot of fun and is very knowledgable on every trip he takes you on. Would highly recommend him as your guide. Sure to be a great time. Thank you JP!!!!

I initially signed up for Boxroom Escape Games after reading Yelp. Boxroom has a room called Merlin's Wizarding Academy. I did this with my nine-year old and my eight-year old kids. They were very proactive and the room is easy enough for the kids to actively help you solve the puzzles. We escaped with about 10-11 minutes left! Out hostess was extremely friendly and very accommodating. She made my kids feel very comfortable too. The setup of the place is very cool! I highly recommend Boxroom Escape Games to anyone with kids that are wanting to do escape rooms!

Uncrowded visit on the fourth of July. Greeted by iguanas of various sizes along the road. This was suggested by my twenty-something son who lives here for a quick stop to get a feel for some Florida nature! The overlook was closed due to construction bbut it was so sweltering that we probably would've skipped it anyway. The nature center was cool and had several interesting exhibits. Spied several types of butterflies outside as well as crabs near the water. Didn't take long to be tired of the heat but it was a fun little stop. Great for younger kids too.

A great place if you want to do some food shopping, eat, and support local vendors. There's a huge variety of Latin American foods to try as well- delicious empanadas, arepas, salteñas, a variety of meats, and desserts. It's like a festival/marketplace. Outdoor and indoor market, it's hot in the summer, more fans would be helpful, but nice when the weather cools.

Hadn't been here in years but came on a weekday afternoon. No charge to enter the park on weekdays. $15 to rent a kayak for an hour and go through the mangroves and across the lake and wander in and out. We saw several herons and other birds. They said some before us had seen manatees but we didn't see any. But, it was a perfect way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommend.
