Twin Oast Brewing

Reviewed By rpsw11 - Albuquerque, United States

1st time at TWIN Oast Brewing and had an enjoyable evening. Friendly service and nice outdoor setting with plenty of space between tables and people. On the weekend it is recommended to get there by 5:30pm if you are planning to eat (vs. just drinking beer & wine) and do not want to wait for a table for 30+ minutes. You are NOT able to place your food order until you have a table because they will ask you for the table #. There is no waiting list for tables. It is on 1st come, 1st serve and you need to find your table. You can bring you own chairs if you you just want to enjoy the beer & wine and listen to the music, which starts around 6pm. The Burgers, Fish Tacos, and Pizza are perfect for this venue. Plenty of beer selection for everyone's taste. I will return next time I am in this area.

Catawba Island State Park

Reviewed By 718teresag - Alamosa, United States

This is a very nice state park with nice views across the water. We visited 2-3 times on our trip, to take our dog for long walks. There is also a beach area, which would be nice to visit in the warm summertime. There is a huge camping area, a boat launch & a kayak launch area. Lots of birds of all over the place. Great place to go for a walk or picnic, no admission fee.

Port Clinton Lighthouse

Reviewed By Omnigreen - Port Clinton, United States

I live in this community and I know what went into getting this lighthouse renovated and relocated close to where it originally stood. It has helped in saving this portion of the lakefront from any future development and created a new destination for locals and tourists alike. Festivals and weddings have been celebrated on the steps of this cute little lighthouse. And rumor has it there soon may be a boathouse too. There are picnic tables, benches, a nice shade tree and a small fishing pond right at the lighthouse itself. A fishing pier is near by located on the Portage River and Lake Erie. And you could walk the beach along the marsh enjoying the surrounding nature. It is great little lighthouse with historical ambiance in the small community of Port Clinton.
