Art Gallery in a National Trust Building. We are an association of Artists showcasing our work in our local community, exhibiting an exciting mix of Original Art.
I personally loved the jewellery made from used coffee pods, but my partner loved the wooden bespoke furniture. They also had knitwork, lots of boutique handbags, canvas paintings, metalwork, pottery and glassblown items. The people at reception were very friendly and happily gave us information about other things to do in the area. There was no pressure to buy

A lovely drive along the Goolwa waterways towards the Barrages. Lots of bird life. Nice walk along the barrages and you may see a boat going through to the ocean side. There is a nice grassed picnic area with facilities and an Information area about the construction and history of the Goolwa Barrages. Well worth the trip to see.

Clean and nice long stretch. My kids enjoyed the sand, although it was cold. Luckily it did not rain. Planning on visiting during the summers.

We drove to the Murray Mouth from Goolwa. S.A., over the bridge to Hindmarsh Island and then to the viewing position for The Mouth of the Murray River, It was wonderful to see this piece of the geography of Australia as it has been in the news for many years. The view is a very flat one as there is no high point around. You can see the dredges that work to keep the river mouth free of sand and there is information at this site to read.
