8 Food & Drink in Benalmadena That You Shouldn't Miss

April 19, 2022 Russell Mellin

While most visitors choose Benalmadena for its glorious beaches, there are plenty of other attractions to keep your family amused. Take a trip out to sea on a boat or a ferry; you can even go whale and dolphin watching. A cable car ride would make a welcome change, or perhaps a visit to Bil Bil Castle. The castle is distinctive with its Arabian architecture, and it hosts concerts as well as art exhibitions. Visit the Sea Life Centre, where you can walk through the transparent tunnels in the underwater park or watch feeding demonstrations; the centre even has a mini golf course. At the end of a relaxing day, Benalmadena becomes a great place for nightlife. Whatever kind of cuisine you are looking for, you are sure to find a restaurant that will suit your family's tastes.

We used the private cooking services 5 times during our two week stay in Spain. Not only was the food FANTASTIC, the chef was on time, friendly and left everything spotless. There have a great variety of menus from themed events (paella and tapas) to al a carte when you can decide exactly what you want. Wu used them for both lunch and dinners on various days and i was not only impressed with the quality of the cooking but also the presentation...as good as a high end restaurant (and we are foodies). All in all a great experience and i would highly reccommend.

We did this cooking class as a family event for my mum's birthday, and it was a great experience! The food we cooked was so delicious (the pil pil prawns were a hit) as was the sangria that we made. Militza (host/chef) was fantastic, really bubbly and chatty and we learned a lot from her! You can be a complete beginner; Militza will guide you through everything. Would absolutely do this again! Thank you to Spanish Cooking Point for a great evening!
