Stedelijk Museum

This is a must do when in Kampen, Great display on the history of the town, has temporary exhibits and then you also visit the attached original medieval house. The museum is really well done and takes about an hour so a perfect change of pace when shopping and eating in Kampen. Highly recommend

Museum No Hero

A new art museum opened it's doors on 15 April, 2018: Museum No Hero. The museum is situated in a stunning historic building in Delden, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Inside the building you'll find a museum shop and a restaurant. Nine exhibition halls - filled with a beautiful selection of paintings, sculptures and there a clock - offer a brief overview of five centuries art history.

In october we visited the YSL atelier-museum in Paris. This was nice because it gives a view on the work space of Yves Saint Laurent. Even more interesting is the exposition in the Museum No Hero in Delden. Here you can admire what YSL designed for Catherine Deneuve. It was love between the two. Definitely a must see. Also the art exhibitions on the second floor are interesting. The owner of the collection is a real art lover with a fine taste for the beauty of women. The only 'faux pas' is the comment in the audio guide in which he mentions mr. Epstein. That felt uncomfortable.
